Hinges are known by repair conpanies to break and HP support is terrible.

Nothing wrong with this computer or the way it functions. It just was not right for me. I chose to go with a Lenovo YOGA instead with bigger memory, better processor and number keypad.

Great laptop. Super convenient for all of the needs.

Pretty good for the most part, some start up issues

I’ve had this laptop less than two years, 1 year and 6 months and I keep getting the blue screen of death. I’ve taken it to Best Buy and third party authorized retailers and no one can find a problem with it. But just says it keeps malfunctioning. Of course it’s just past the warranty date. It’s been well maintained always in a case, never used while charging, never excessively charged. This is the second Hp laptop that has died on me in 5 years. The batteries don’t hold charges long and there seems like there is always some sort of a recall on them. After feeling defeated for 3 plus weeks I finally Switched to apple and we’ll see how this one holds its value.

Had this laptop for about 3 weeks. I took a chance on buying it open box, but all of a sudden, it wouldn't charge the battery. It was a great laptop up until that point. The only other issue I had, and it wasn't mechanical, was the fingerprints. If you don't like finishes that show 1,000 fingerprints and smears, this isn't for you. Before it stopped charging, I would've given it a 4 but maybe a 5 if I overlooked the fingerprint thing. Exchanging it was a breeze at Best Buy since I have the annual membership and allows returns up to 60 days. SOOO glad I got that when I bought this, or I would've been about 8 days past the return point.

Camera has issues, I bought this for my online classes and it almost failed me at the day of my exam. When wanting to fold it. The keyboard gets pressed. I wouldn’t have buy this if I knew it before

I have already had someone from best buy remote in on my computer because of it being slow so i will probably be returning it within my sixty day window. Also was not impressed with experience with tech support.

Speakers have a bit of rattly buzz at certain frequencies which is annoying and power supply gets a bit warm (144F per my IR meter). Battteties also not as impressive as my previous Envy.

Its a decent computer butnthe sound isnt very loud and the brightness is the greatest. If its just for work and not watching movies it would work...or if you use headphone or earbuds

The keys on the computer started popping up for no reason so I took it back to Best Buy for repair they said it would take four weeks which is utterly ridiculous but it there world.

It works for basic computing tasks, but the construction isn't great. My touchpad was not secured well into the chassis of the laptop and the one corner sinks in a bit. The lack of dedicated graphics card makes some operations unusable and the computer lags out easily doing basic tasks. However, I needed something cheap for college on short notice and for that I can't complain.

I like laptop but I’ve had it a month and I already have driver issues and I haven’t used it much since it’s for school. I mostly use my desktop. The service for pickup was also terrible. The manager sounded like he hated the fact I asked how long it would be after I had already been there waiting for two hours to get it and to mention there were account issues on Best Buy’s side so I had to wait the 3 and half hours to get my laptop. I left feeling dissatisfied and I just wanted to go home and cry.

I am generally pleased with this laptop, however I wish the display was brighter. The last HP laptop I purchased has a much brighter display

I purchased this laptop as a gift for a family member. It was a lemon out of the box and unfortunately we didn't realize that until after Best Buy's return window. Not a problem, I figured HP would honor their warranty and repair or replace. That is where the fun began. The original service call was made in July. The laptop was sent for repair where it sat for over 2 months because of "part shortages". I demanded they expedite this and they wouldn't. Then I demanded a refund and they wanted to offer me a pro-rated refund. Absolutely not. It didn't work out of the box. They couldn't fix it and they couldn't replace it so just give me the money back. I didn't get a check until November. HP was a nightmare to work with and I refuse to buy another product from them.

I got this computer in July, I am very responsible. But the charger completely stopped working.

Barley used it as it only had one purpose (my bills) and now it runs hot and doesn't work after a one year.
