It is frustratingly slow at the worst times. It just needs to function at a basic level and it doesn’t meet that threshold most times.

HP stands for hinge problems. HP’s laptops hinged are all bound to break and mine is in the process of breaking. HP also seems to be very good at producing poor quality laptops that break often. My laptop has already been serviced once and is going for a second time because of the wonderful hinge design that totally causes no issues at all, and now both of my charging ports are dead. This renders the laptop functionally useless once again. I have learned my lesson, no matter how cheap the laptop is, if it’s made by HP, don’t buy it!

its a pretty decent laptop, battery life is not so good

The only thing I have a issue with is the touch pad sticking. Other than that I like the product. this is why I'm only giving it a 3

very different to operate.....previous computer was a dell.......much easier to handle.

I that you are able to use this as a computer or a tablet. My elderly mother enjoys and can easily use this.

I returned the computer, very slow with wifi. I don't know if it is the brand or qualifications

Very disappointed. Had leas than a year and the mother board died. Had to go through factory warranty to replace. Before it died it worked well though, love the touchscreen.

Got online and right off was high jacket not saying it was the laptop but I couldn't do anything but best buy is making it all good

Nice screen, but the mouse pad part does not seem to be working like it should very sensitive

Laptop has heating and bit performance issues. Overall it is good to purchase at minimal budget.

HP pulled a fast one as this system ans its memory is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot be upgraded from 8 GB. I will most likely will never buy another HP again as my last envy was upgradable, and I got fooled into thinking that this one was as well.

Okay laptop overall, but the mousepad sticks and is glitchy to use. Probably would go with something different.

Wrong OS version. Nowhere on the online ad did it mention this laptop came with Windows11 s-mode which can only install apps from the app store. At the time of purchase, I didn't see any way to change that. I now see there is an 'app' in the windows app store to get out of s-mode. Anyway, I needed to install applications not in the windows app store, and it took me many wasted hours of setting up the computer to realize I couldn't do everything I needed to. I work with computers as a profession and was setting this up for my mom, but I need to be able to remote to her laptop to help, and that was not possible with this machine.

Complete Disappointment this broke in less then 12 months.

i do not understand how to get this system working. This is the first time that I bought a laptop at Best Buy and there was NO HELP to set it up.. I went to the Geek Squad area and was told to make an apointment, then drop it off for 2 days. So I took my laptop and left. I am unhappy with Best Buy service. And I pay every year to be a Geek Squad member, but it did not help me that day. I suppose I can call on line and try to get help. So far. No good

The overall laptop is fine. But I wish I had known that the HP software has some kind of bug that doesn't allow you to wake your laptop up from sleep mode, no matter what you do. I took it into Geek Squad to fix the issue, and they couldn't do anything. I just have to wait for a software update. Really annoying.

The computer is ok. It is touch screen and is hyper sensitive to any touch or breath of air. This will cause the screen to jump. It is very irritating. I wouldn't recommend it or repurchase. It's my fault for picking a touch screen. I have had an ipad for 10 years so I thought it would be great.
