Winning In Every Way Possible
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally don't feel compelled to write reviews. However, since the recent purchase of this laptop after my 4 year old HP died I have been very satisfied on the quality and features offered. I narrowed a list of new laptops with research on Best Buys website and online reviews of various models. I got it down from about 8 to 3 finalists. Although this particular model was out of the price I had in mind, ultimately the multiple postive reviews and the $300 discount made it the final choice for me. However, once booting it up, and not knowing what to expect, I was flabbergasted by the a screen graphics, keyboard layout, the extreme thin size, light weight, and total ease of transfering by last back up from my old laptop to the new. Didn't expect that. In fact when I went to Best Buy to pick up the new one I took my old dead one expecting have to have the Geek Squad extract from my hard drive. But I decided not to do that. Cost mainly. I had a backup on a USB storage device. But ultimately it was a breeze with the laptop automatically transfering my last backup. That date was a little over a week old. So close enough and perfect! Made my life easy!

Hands down best laptop/tablet I have ever bought!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased this laptop for school work, but I find myself absolutely loving every aspect this computer has. It is quick loading with websites, apps, and everything else it has to offer. The customizing options are incredible, and the fact that it folds over and doubles as a tablet is amazing. The screen size is huge and watching streaming apps via the tablet way is awesome. And the best part is honestly the price. I did not think that I could get a laptop/tablet combo that is this good for the price that I did. I couldn't be happier!

Excellent Performance BUT major issue...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP Envy X360 15.6" 2-in-1 Laptop performs very well, and with the AMD Ryzen 5 7000 Series Processor, multi-tasking is a breeze. This laptop also supports MPP (Microsoft Pen Protocol) & Windows Ink for those who wish to use a stylus or pen while in tablet mode. The overall design is elegant, sleek, and stylish, with an all-metal build, and that modern Nightfall Black color, It's truly an eye-catcher, however, this beautifully designed laptop is also a fingerprint magnet, and that's putting it lightly. The backlit keyboard is also a nice feature and has multiple brightness settings that can be easily adjusted with the press of a button directly on the keyboard, the keys on the keyboard are also a little larger than normal, which is a nice touch for those who may have vision issues. This HP also boasts a nice Windows Hello Login feature, and facial recognition, and has a built-in IR next to the webcam so that the feature can effectively work at night, or in low-light areas. Now that I have told you all the good about this laptop, it's time for the unfortunate major issue, at least with my unit directly. To start, the laptop overheated significantly after using the laptop for roughly 2 hours. Everything seemed to be working flawlessly before this happening, I finished with what I was doing on my laptop, closed it, and plugged it into the charger. I walked away briefly and returned to the bedroom a few minutes later to find the laptop fan running at a very high RPM, while in sleep mode, closed, and charging. The LED indicator light showed a full charge (the laptop was not fully charged at that moment, as I had only plugged it in only moments earlier), so I picked up the laptop and opened it as I normally would see what was going on, the screen was black and it wouldn't power on out of sleep mode. I had to force a power down by holding down the power button and then turn it on manually again. After I did this, everything seemed normal, the battery was at 70% (not fully charged as the blue LED indicator light had indicated), and I tried the process of charging the laptop again. It did charge without any issues, and everything seemed to be working as it should. However, since this was a brand new laptop and only the second time I had used it, I decided to contact Best Buy about the issues I had experienced. I was advised to return the laptop and exchange it for the same one or to choose another laptop. I ultimately decided to go with another laptop, as I just couldn't take the chance of this problem reoccurring again. After I did the exchange, I did do some research and found that there have been reports of other HP Envy owners with this same model, who've experienced similar issues with the laptop overheating while charging. I can't say for sure that this is an issue or flaw with this model entirely, but I can say that the unit I purchased was defective, and I wanted to share my experience just in case anyone else is experiencing the same issue or to warn of the potential overheating issue to allow other consumers like me to have a heads up before making a purchase decision. Overall, if this situation hadn't happened, I would've kept this laptop, as it boasts many features, and is definitely premium quality!

Fantastic Laptop for Work and Play
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the HP Envy 2-in-1 Laptop, and I couldn't be happier! The sleek design caught my eye immediately, and it's incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry around. The AMD Ryzen processor ensures everything runs smoothly, whether I'm working on multiple tasks or streaming videos. The touch-screen display is stunning, perfect for binge-watching my favorite shows. Plus, the fast SSD means no more waiting for things to load. Overall, it's a fantastic laptop for both work and play! Highly recommend it!

Happy I chose this one
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this has been the best laptop I've ever purchased. While it's not as fast (but I knew that going in based on the memory size) as others I've had, the ease of use AND 2-in-1 nature more than makes up for it. If I am not actively using it, it holds the charge. The touch screen works great with the stylus I have, and it has been a delight to use for coursework because it doubles as a tablet. Read article, swap to laptop mode, complete assignments. I can't recommend this enough.

Fantastic bang-for-your-buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this because it was something I would love to have, but it was a birthday gift for a 20 year old college student that is as much of a techno-geek as I am. The end result was a gift that he loves. It can handle all the programs he needs to run as an electrical engineer student and enough power to do some light gaming. The Ryzeb 5 processor is quite capable to handle most of anything, the memory is easily upgradable from 8GB to 16GB so that it will assist in playing slightly more graphic intense games. The combination of these two elements is an excellent choice compared to the much more expensive laptops with dedicated graphic cards. Fingerprint reader, card reader, touch screen, keyboard is far above what you would normally find in a laptop in this price range. The design and feel of the computer is also a step above the rest. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in driving this machine as a do-it-all device.

HP ENVY - Best on A Budget
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing Screen, Expectional Keybaord, great battery life. Could not ask for more. But the RAM being soldered on, you and my workload putting the machine at 83%+ utilisation. I have a hard time with regular stuttering with say 8 chrome tabs, inter changing between them. Albeit the ENVY is a heavy laptop, on a slim profile and the keyboard is a finger grease magnet.

Overall excellent laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When combinjng all aspects of this laptop you really are getting a very good product. Six core twelve thread processor, 8 gigs of ram, aluminim chasis, and a nice screen. The only true draw back would be the storage, but simply buy a usb drive or an external ssd to expand it. The screen does have glare from lighting. I would suggest a mate screen protector.

HP Envy Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased with the HP Envy Laptop. I purchased it to use for my business as I am a realtor. It is very lightweight and user-friendly. I am able to bring it with me every day, open it and use it right away with clients. I love the touchscreen feature and the fact it can fold to "prop" up when needed. Great all around product.

A beautiful PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this laptop for a month - so far no issues. The setup was straightforward. Face recognition is a nice feature but it does not work correctly. The screen is beautiful, the touchpad is the same quality as in my Macbook. The SD card reader is a useful add-on. The touch screen is very sensitive, I am fully satisfied with it. I have purchased it for office work, it is not s gamer laptop. But quite fast a reliable. This is not a heavy laptop, a lightweight structure therefore I assume this is not a college laptop for very heavy use from a mechanical point of view.

Great computer, HP is my go to.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my HP computer. It is the only system k will use. Ready to go out of the box with an intuitive simple set up process. I was back in business within 30 mins of setup. Also find the touch screen so useful. Battery life is good and it is a fast computer. Even better, got this as an open box and saved hundreds of dollars almost half of what other retailers were charging.

Overall a great laptop but catch it on a sale.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is generally a pretty great laptop. I caught it on sale for $500 bucks and for the specs, the build, and the mostly upgradability, I'd definitely recommend it. At the time of purchase it had a new 7000 series AMD Ryzen 5, 8 gigs of RAM, 256 gigs of storage, and WiFi 6 with either Bluetooth 5.2 or 5.3. The great thing is that you can replace the SSD and WiFi card. Unfortunately the 8 gigs are soldered. It's fairly fast for 8 gigs of DDR4 RAM though. 4266 mhz and it's dual channel SK Hynix (I believe). It's fine for most things and most people in a non professional sense. I wouldn't buy it if your job was editing videos but you can easily do this things. It's really good at $500. I wouldn't go for it at the full price though. They have a Ryzen 7 version with 16 gigs if you need more omph. Both versions have a nice metal body all around, surprisingly nice sounding speakers that are full and loud, a nice resolution screen (that is unfortunately only 250 nits, a classic HP mistake but okayish at the sale price), a huge screen (almost too big) that is 360 degrees for tablet mode, lots of ports (2 USB c at 10 gigabit but not USB 4), and fast charging. It's a mixed bag at full price but at the regularly discounted sale price, it's actually really good.
