Runing kinda slow but overall a good device for kids

Problems with the cursor freezing up, locks up when sending emails, hard to retrieve the cursor arrow

Have only used laptop for short period of time but find it confusing. Just got off of a Windows 7 and this is so much different. Not sure if I like it. The number keyboard to the right of letter board is not there and I miss it. The mouse pad had no indicators where your fingers should go and not happy with most of the programs

Disappointed with HP quality. My daughter has had this laptop for less than a year and the hardware is failing. She called HP but they only said the software had to be updated which she did but it did not help solve the issue.

I bought this laptop because I've always had a good experience with HP and it was on sale. However, this was the exception to the good experience. As I was registering the computer (part of set-up), I got the 'blue screen of death'. After multiple calls to HP customer service, I was told I need to reimage the computer. When that didn't work, I was told to get my own flash drive, use a different computer to download the operating system onto that flash drive, and then try to install it on the new laptop. When that didn't work, I was told that I needed to buy the HP flash drive with the operating system for this specific laptop. Ridiculous!

The mouse pad wasn’t working properly, I will try and get another maybe.

Very hard to figure this lap top out. Battery doesn’t last.

it's ok. already had to contact hp twice about a glitch.

Returned due to continuing to have to reconnect to the internet. Had to continue to shut down or log off to reestablish connection.

I bought this computer for my father, who needed a new laptop. They had it on a great sale, so I went ahead and purchased it. My father lives two hours away and he took his computer with him and one day later he called to say the screen went dark on him. Even though the rest of the computer was on. I thought it was user error until I googled the situation. Apparently HP envy has this problem. I will probably be taking it back but luckily I have 60 days in which to do it since my father is not in town at the moment. he was able to get the screen back and it hasn’t occurred again but I don’t trust things that break so soon.

Haven’t had quite 2 years yet and having problems. I really Love this laptop but not worth it when it cost half what I paid to repair in less than two years.

This computer started making loud sounds and giving me an error message after only one week. Now the computer freezes up and I have to hold the power button down just to get it to turn off. I have tried calling the store where I purchased it. They send me to geek squad where I’m instructed to get online. Each time I tried to ask for help, the automated computer kept repeating the same question. Not helpful at all. I’m taking the computer to the store tomorrow so maybe someone will help me.

Unfortunately my laptop just died.it had upgraded me and it never came back after that. It is only 6pm the old.

I’m very unhappy. I needed to make the purchase very last minute for a new employer. I depend on this computer to complete my job functions and am barely able to do so. When I am in my designated workspace it moves very slow and there’s a constant lag. It makes it very hard to do anything.

The computer was stuck in S mode and could not be turned off. I tried calling customer service but kept getting transferred with no help. Best buy said I could leave it for repair or return it so thats what I did. I would not buy anything with the S mode on it ,

Laptop won't charge after 6 months. It worked and charged fine until it just stopped.

My unit was defective. When I performed my first Windows Update-Restart after 60 days of regular use, it failed to restart... I then had to call HP (Best Buy wouldn't help me) to debug and correct the issue---about to waste that time now on a Sunday afternoon. Very inconvenient!!!

This is not my first laptop and I can’t figure out how to turn it on. Where’s the power button?

Honestly i dont like this laptop! The sound is very low, even on the loudest setting, it's hard to listen to lessons on it. Another downside is the 10 key numbers to the right are not there! You only have the top 10 numbers at the top across the keyboard. I wish i could return it but it's too late.
