Results of not paying close enough attention.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was in a hurry to replace my broken laptop. did not pay close attention to the HP key board, Just listened to the sales clerk. It does not have a 10 key number pad on the right side of the board. Other frequently used keys are located in non familiar places to me. It will be a looong learning curve.

Concerned of Battery life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Laptop is a gem considering the price range. Superb performance in every aspects. The only thing I am concerned of is the battery life. As a new laptop it only runs about an hour or so without plugged in. Doesn’t seem normal since it’s a new one.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third HP laptop, maybe the last. It doesn't respond quickly after its been asleep -- I move the cursor, I hit the Return key. Nothing. I do it again. Wait. Wait. Wait. Then I get to the PIN prompt. Really annoying. Also, even worse is that the computer doesn't have a screen lock for the orientation so that you can turn the computer on it's side and the screen display stays the same. They took that functionality out (or maybe Windows 11 did, I'm not savvy enough to know who did it.) That was vitally important to me and a BIG negative surprise. Win11 is also horrid. I would have bought an Apple if I knew what I was going to get. Really.

Computer will shock you.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had an earlier model of this computer that was good. This one not so good. From start up it was having issues. Best buy said it was a new computer but when we did the initial boot it had that screen that you get when a person does a factory reset. Figured whatever, maybe we got a factory refurb or the factory missed a step, still give it a try. Initial setup was horrendous it keep lagging and being buggy taking forever. When it was done it wouldn't recognize the graphics card and out of curiosity I checked the updates. For some reason when it did the initial start up it didnt load all the updates it needed even though we told it to autoupdate. Weird. Also when it was plugged into the outlet you could feel an electric charge. I know how that sounds but you could feel it when resting your hand on it while typing. Contunued to use it hoping it would be fine then the screen started skipping, losing connection, and keep needing more updates. Decided to give it one more try because we really liked the older model from 4 years ago and it was a good price so we factory reset it. Repeat all of the issues. Luckily when I returned it they were having a deal on an Omen gaming laptop that was a couple hundred more. Exchanged and paid extra. Maybe we got a bad one but who knows.

Looks great but it's a piece of crap
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gorgeous machine. Sadly it's cheap and unreliable. Housing is weak and cracked from a simple usb drive. Fan breaks quickly and is VERY LOUD. DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE.

Suuuuper SLOW!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop seemed to be so great and the sound really is, but it's very hard to work with this computer because it is soooo slow. Even though I've barely started using it and has barely anything on it. Reminds me of my desktop of 20 years ago. Even my laptop with slower core and less ram that is a few years old, full and almost falling apart is faster than this one. Big turn down, especially for 800 dollars!

Poor Internet and Bluetooth Connection Issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend this laptop. I've been dealing with bad connection issues since I've had it, which has only been a month and a half. It drops internet connection daily, to where I have to reset my router to get internet connection back... big inconvenience for everyone in my house to have to stop what they're doing just so I can have internet. Also, the Bluetooth on this is horrible! Any device I connect to it, cuts out audio with the slightest movement... and the devices are less than 3ft away from the laptop! I bought this laptop due to previously having an Elitebook for yrs, which gave me no issues and also, the price wasn't too steep. However, I really wish now that I'd shoveled out a bit more money for the Samsung I had my eye on, over this one. Other than having to reset my router everyday to have internet (literally) and keeping my wireless Bluetooth devices STATIONARY, so that the audio won't cut out, the laptop is great.

battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speed of the computer is what gives it a fair rating. On the other hand, for a $1050 laptop the laptops battery life is extremely poor.
