Besides for printing I really needed this product for scanning. You can only put one piece of paper face down at a time to scan it . You if you have 10 pages to scan you must open the lid and put the document face down 10 times. Another disadvantage is you quickly run out cartridge ink after about 100 pages. In addition it is a gimmick to get you join a monthly program depending on how much you want to print monthly. It prints well. I enjoy my printer thus far and would buy it again and recommend!
