Schooling at home made easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Schooling at home made easy. Suddenly the kids are schooling at home and our printer is broken. I bought this unit because it worked with “I” products as well as windows products- We have both in our house. Now everybody can print from their Various wireless devices with no hassle. I am seriously happy with my purchase. Easy set up by the way.

Good printer at a reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good printer. Not fast but quality is good. Set up is easy, but a better tool for managing using the printer would be helpful. Wifi connection is solid. I am curious to see how the new Print monitoring" program works, I like the idea getting ink sent to just before you need it, but cost proposition is still unknown at this point. Overall, a good, printer and scan accessory for family use.

Excellent printer, especially for the price ($59)
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer to ensure I had a backup to my existing printer, when I started to help my grandkids with at home school remotely. My existing printer is the same model, which I have had for about a year. It has been very reliable, and although not super fast, prints with very good quality. The instant ink service works very well

Good home printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased when on sale, so a bonus buy. The set up took about an hour with most of the time spent trying to connect to the wireless network and checking that the phones and laptop able to find the printer and then print. Print quality is good. Setting selections are prefect for home use. Scanning and copying functions work well. Needed to purchase a black cartridge soon after with only printing a few small print jobs.

wow, just wow!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been through a bunch of printers in the last 40 years, but this one takes ease of setup and use to a whole new level. Seriously, 5 minute setup, then printing flawlessly from every device that's using our home wireless. The "instant Ink" is a different approach to the timeless of problem of "out of ink", and I hope that lives up to promises.

HP - ENVY 5055 All-in-One Instant Ink Ready Printe
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not easy to set up, had to contact Best Buy Geek Squad for assistance which as usual was great. They helped me work through it. Would have been nice to have a CD like the prior HP printer to allow you to connect with the internet. Otherwise, the printer is awesome, especially for the price. Works great, no problems at this time. Great value for the price except for set up time.

Great Easy to use printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this printer has worked really well and has worked as advertised. The biggest plusses are the speed to set up and ease of use. The wifi connectivity works well and allows for easy printing from all of my devices. It is a larger printer in terms of area but the height isn't bad and thus it's pretty low profile and streamlined.

Perfect Printer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer (HP Envy) is everything it claims to be: fast, efficient, and user-friendly. It prints, scans, copies, and faxes if connected to a phone line or network. Its price was great, and the monthly ink offer very helpful, as I sometimes forget to check ink levels until too late. Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Does all in one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is sleek and super quiet. The quality of the prints is very good and the ink cartriges go in easily. I loved my 10 year old HP printer until I messed up the printer head not being careful. That said, I do less printing now, this was so much cheaper and there is no difference that I noticed. The only con is the paper slot handle may not go the distance.

Easy to use printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I asked the Best Buy employees about which was the easiest and most functional printer to use. They never steer me wrong, they told me this was a great printer, very functional at a very reasonable price point. Printer was so easy to set up and use, quickly links to WiFi, and I am actually contemplating purchasing a second printer.

Very good all-in-one inkjet printer for casual use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced a similar unit from Epson that stopped powering-up. The HP Envy 5055 installed easily over my WiFi network and I was able to print from both Windows 10 and Linux PCs. The copier function also worked without issue. However, I couldn't get the scanner to work initially. Kept getting a message that the computer couldn't communicate with the scanner. I tried hooking the unit directly to my Windows PC via USB cable and I got the same error. Ran the "HP Print and Scan Doctor" app and it hung up at the "Windows Image Acquistion (WIA)" step. Checked Local Services and it showed WIA status as "Starting" and no ability to stop/restart the service (buttons greyed out). I researched on-line for similar problem reports with HP printers and the usual response was to uninstall/re-install the printer drivers, but I didn't see any reports back from users that this procedure actually worked. So, I chose instead to uninstall all the old Epson drivers and apps from my system and that did the trick! Now, WIA shows "Running" and the scanner now works great with either USB or Wireless connection. I'm not faulting HP for this glitch since it's probably a system conflict with the old Epson drivers. However, I thought I should mention this here for the benefit of others who may encounter the same problem when migrating from other printers. I took a star off because HP Envy 5055 is pretty wide for a compact printer, the paper tray seems flimsy and its capacity is on the low side, and the print-out "tray" is a just a flimsy plastic "arm". Not really big deals for me since I'm using this primarily for its scanner function. Overall, it is a very capable all-in-one printer at a great price for those who only need to print occasionally.
