For a really cheap printer this definitely gets the job done. Setup was easy. At this price though, don't expect super-fast print jobs or quick copying. You get what you pay for, but if you need to print every now and then this will get the job done.

Easy to set-up to wifi; ease of use; the color output is very pale and dim. It's not a bright vibrant color for any of the colors I've printed so far. Disappointed. I had to touch up the copies with markers or crayons to get a color to "pop".

We’ve not used it a bunch but we have some and really like the ease of it all. It beats going to the library to print off a few pages. Of course we live Best Buy... especially at this location. We have spent thousands of dollars over the last several years and wouldn’t go any place else for our electronics!

I am glad to finally get a printer that I don't have to worry about in I got the right cable in changing between my printers for different uses. I have a HP 845C and an Epson stylus. This one I don't have to change anything in order to use the scanner or printer.

The HP Envy 5055 printer prints crisp, clear text and colorful images. It also scans and copies documents easily. All in a size that fits nicely in a small working area. Setup was fairly quick and easy. After removing some packing material, I plugged in the printer and downloaded the HP app described in the setup guide. The app walked me through connecting the printer to my home wireless network, installing ink cartridges, and calibrating the print heads. It also took me through setting up various printer settings. I was printing from my smartphone and my Windows PC in about 15 minutes. There are some very convenient features in this model, like the ability to print via email using HP's service, using Apple's AirPrint for their mobile devices, or Google's Cloud Print. Overall, printing from within my home network or anywhere else has been easy. Printing is relatively quiet, but you can definitely hear the print heads zipping back and forth and the rollers pushing the paper through. Print quality isn't as crisp and sharp as a laser printer, but it's been a while since my last ink jet printer purchase, and I was quite impressed with the quality of the output. Using the HP app to scan is very simple and easy to do. Using the printer's own touch screen seems awkward, but I'd only use it as a backup if I had trouble with the app. Overall, this is a very good quality printer that packs a lot of features into a compact form factor.

originally bought for my husband when he was working from home. However, sometimes he had problems connecting because he couldn't install the app on his computer. Works great with my cell phone. I sometimes have to reconnect through the app but otherwise works great.
