Easy to set up. Does just what I need it for. Nothing fancy!

Main thing is the WI-FI works great. Makes quality prints.

Print was easy to use and printed everything very Nicely

The HP Envy 5055 printer prints crisp, clear text and colorful images. It also scans and copies documents easily. All in a size that fits nicely in a small working area. Setup was fairly quick and easy. After removing some packing material, I plugged in the printer and downloaded the HP app described in the setup guide. The app walked me through connecting the printer to my home wireless network, installing ink cartridges, and calibrating the print heads. It also took me through setting up various printer settings. I was printing from my smartphone and my Windows PC in about 15 minutes. There are some very convenient features in this model, like the ability to print via email using HP's service, using Apple's AirPrint for their mobile devices, or Google's Cloud Print. Overall, printing from within my home network or anywhere else has been easy. Printing is relatively quiet, but you can definitely hear the print heads zipping back and forth and the rollers pushing the paper through. Print quality isn't as crisp and sharp as a laser printer, but it's been a while since my last ink jet printer purchase, and I was quite impressed with the quality of the output. Using the HP app to scan is very simple and easy to do. Using the printer's own touch screen seems awkward, but I'd only use it as a backup if I had trouble with the app. Overall, this is a very good quality printer that packs a lot of features into a compact form factor.

Printers get cheaper and better all the time, but they still use ink like crazy , so far this ones been a real trooper . The ink is a descent price and the Quality is just fine . I have a couple of printers in several locations so I don't have to wait to print or do work and this is just fine.

I like this printer, on occasions I find it off line, not sure why that happens, all in all, I does exactly what I needed it to do, scan, copy and when I figure it out fax. Due to Covid-19, we were not able to get these things done unless we went out to do it. I has fulfilled our needs.

I bought this printer to replace my old HP Photosmart device. I initially set up the printer so that it would function with a wireless connection. After experiencing some apparent network interference because of that configuration, I started using a USB cable to operate the device. Since then, I've used the machine without difficulty.
