I needed a printer to replace something 5 years old. This is great. It works with AirPrint and bluetooth. It's fast and does a high quality print. And the fact it connects to my network wirelessly is awesome.

I'll start with the positive: printing and scanning work pretty much as expected. Set-up was reasonably straightforward. The rest: HP's attempts to hoover my data and bombard me with unnecessary notifications is maddening. Warnings that ink is low sometimes come 3 minutes apart. You dismiss it, another one pops up. You let it sit, another one pops up. I bought the thing so I could be more productive--constant distractions with unwanted advertisements for their overpriced ink isn't helpful. Look carefully before you give them your email address or any information about anything, really. Their privacy policies offer little protection, and their instant-ink offer is designed to get you to pay multiples more than you have to. I spent a couple of weeks wondering if I should return the thing and missed the window to do so. Don't make the same mistake. It's a privacy-invasion and distraction machine first, printer and scanner as an afterthought.

This is the 2nd 5055 hp-envy that i have purchased, I have replaced 2 older hp printers with this on, it is easy to set up and the ink is 1/2 the price of the old hp printers I had.

This device can literally do it all! Great quality at an even better price. I have already recommended this printer to seven friends, and they all went on to purchase this model.

I’ve had it for a month and I love it! Works wirelessly, including printing from my iPhone and the prints are great! Those were the most important things to me! What else is there?

Purchased for 9th grader for printing school assignments. Has worked well since we purchased it 3 months ago. Easy to set up wireless printing from computer or iPhones. Reasonably priced and good value!

HP Envey 5055 is reasonably priced, does all functions wirelessly . installs seamlessly ,but I do recommend the proffessional download or you will not get the scan to computor feature and the e-mail address.

The printer I have now works great with no problems. However, the first one I got sparked when I plugged it in and never worked. That being said, I returned it and my current one works great. This is a great, affordable printer.

My 5055 is noticeably faster than my previous 6520. I haven't used it very much so far but the print quality is excellent. Black is much blacker than my 6520. The jury is still out on the ink cartridges. I prefer single colors so I have to replace only the color that runs out. We'll see how long the tri-color lasts. The ink cartridges are a totally different design that the 8520. I hope they don't have the 6520 problem of black not printing due to a clogged print head. I had to flush the black head every couple of months to keep it printing. It was a messy procedure to flush the print head. The 5055 is a bit larger but not a problem. I wish the paper tray had a larger capacity...hence four stars.

I fully recommend this printer. It’s extremely easy to set up and use, and you can scan documents straight to you phone! Feels good to finally have a working printer again.

This is an excellent printer at a great price. The functions are fantastic. I love that you can print from phone or tablet so easily. I have used HP in the past then tried Brother and nothing compares to HP.

I’m very satisfied with this printer. It was easy to set up, and provides quality printing. I did have to replace the ink cartridge sooner than I expected with the included ink cartridges.

This printer is great! Connecting was super easy and also allows iPhone Bluetooth connectivity, I can print directly from my phone as if I was on my laptop! Quiet, fast and easy.

HP ENVY 5055 ALL IN ONE PRINTER This is a great product. We had this printer for a year now. Good for home use. Would recommend to family and friend.

Wow this printer is awesome. It is the first printer I've owned since the 90's and early 2000's HPs that actually starts printing right after you hit the print button. My last several printers would take minutes sometimes to start printing, making 14.4 dial-up modem sounds the whole time. This thing also prints exponentially faster than those recent printers. I've never understood how a printer I owned 25 years ago could print faster than a modern one, but that has been the case for a very long time until now. This printer spits out pages super fast, especially in black and white. It's also cheap, so really it's a no brainer.

Great for home / light use. Print is good quality , just a little slow. This was perfect for my needs. It was really easy and quick to set up, especially for someone like me who is not “tech” savvy.

If your looking for a good home/office printer, this envy 5055 will do the job. I brought this for school work and for my personal use that’s not for school. I like that it has wireless printing so I can be in another room with my laptop and it will print. I don’t have to go to the room where the printer is install. It is also compatible with Apple products. So u can use a Mac. It’s God’s for the price and I would recommend. Haven’t had any issue yet. Set up might take some time but that with a lot of these new technology devices.

Great printer/scanner. Connect multiple devices quickly. Love being able to print from my iPhone, MacBook Air, or my daughters chromebook. Good price compared to other combos.
