Purchased when Canon finally died after years of great service for documents and pics. Chose Envy because I have an HP laptop, it was cheap and would primarily used for documents with occasional scans, so ink costs would be minimal. Worked well at first, then updates failed, then HP changed the original operation to new downloaded program. Giving up now because it started printing alternate lines on document I had successfully printed before (suggesting the issue was not with the original saved document)

When my other printer gave out I knew I wanted something different. The HP Envy 5055 was it. Instead of changing 5 cartridges you only change 2. The color clarity is sharp and the size is perfect for a desk top.

I'm very happy with the printer. My only complaint is that when the black ink is empty (I only use the black) it just tells you right then, that you are low and it won't print anything else, so I'd advise having a back up ink cartridge handy.

The printer is great! I love that it has the scanning feature. It was a little hard to set up because it was saying my computer wasn’t compatible with it. It worked fine on my iPad and phone setting up. Overall I like it.

This printer is great if you dont do a lot of printing. It burns through ink like crazy! Simple to use. Prints photocopies at a medium speed. For the money it is a decent printer

I had an HP printer that lasted me over 10 years. When it bit the dust and I needed a new one quick. After reviewing some makes and models. I chose this model because of price point and what it does.

Over the past you had to buy an all in one my problem is I don't fax anything, but you had to buy all 3 with this new HP Envy 5055 printer there's no fax , plus I joined the ink club and so far it uses less ink. great deal

I like the printer but I should have gotten one with a feeder. It works perfectly and easy to set up for wirelessly use with an Apple computer, phone or IPad.

This printer works pretty well. I haven't had any problems with it yet, and I enjoy that it has double sided printing. The double sided printing is not the fastest, but I'm just appreciative for the feature.

The printer works fine when connected with a cable. I have some difficulty setting up the printer in the wireless mode. I went back to talk to the sales person for clarification of the instructions but haven't had a chance to tinker with it.

This was a present for our granddaughter who is off to college. Unfortunately the wi-fi at the dorm has a weak signal so the printer would not work. When a separate USB cable was purchased everything came into place and now it's working very well.

No problem with Wi-Fi, prints every time! Easy to set up. Very disappointed though that it did not have a USB port! If I had realized that before purchasing I might have made another choice.

If your looking for a printer to work with today’s devices like your PC, IPAD and IPhone, this printer is great. I am 75 yrs old and had little to no problems getting this printer to work with the 3 devices listed.

I purchased this printer in JANUARY 2019. This records indicates July 2019 however that is incorrect as I was in another state in July 2019 so it is wrong. I used this printer in FL for 8 months, then left for WI and unplugged it. Upon our return last week it does not print. This printer worked in the beginning and for some unknown reason it stopped working. It connects to my WI-fi but will not print. I have spent hours on with Geek Squad and time in person with GS but no one can get it working. This is a 1 year product then you have to dispose of it and buy a new one. What a waste!

This printer is a great printer. So far, I've really enjoyed the double-sided feature. Also, it's more convenient to fill with paper. I'm looking forward to learning more about all this printer will do.

Works great but HP print app lags when you try to select the printer and print. Had to reboot 2 times to get it to connect to the WiFi. Overall it works great for a small at home printer though.

Hewlett Packard install instructions for wireless printing were a mess. Just do it manually - no problems to date.

This is a great printer to use at home. It has this feature in which it alerts you when the ink is going to run out. It automatically orders the ink cartridge for you ( provided you are enrolled into the instant ink program).

Purchased while on vacation and needed to get my taxes done. It worked very well and I am well pleased. Since getting home, I have connected it to my wifi without a problem. I would recommend it to others.
