This is a nice printer for a home office. It does many things the only thing is that the ink container is small but to replace it isn't costly. Don't need the subscription.

It's about as compact as a printer/scanner can get. Ink is easy to reload. It has served all my needs (printing, scanning) without major issues.

Still amazing the low inital cost of some printers. However, unlike another brand used previously that qucikly cost a fortune in ink replacments, the Envy seems to have more economical ink cartridges that last. I like it.

Printer seems to work OK for my use. Took more effort to figure out how to use LCD display/control than others since instructions are skimpy. Options and controls are limited and obscure.

This is probably my 5th printer from HP and all have been great. When they finally die, it's because I've used the heck out of them and they performed well the entire time.

This was an update to a printer we had for about 8 or 9 years. It’s much smaller does everything the previous one did and then some. It’s Bluetooth, has a paper tray and can still scan/copy. Exactly what I need.

I needed a printer for a computer that is rarely used. This one works perfectly for that. Basic printer, fairly slow and doesn't hold much paper. If you just need a printer for minimum tasks, this would be it.

Don't use HP for setup! Use instructions that come with printer & avoid using online help....not a good experience. HP was unsuccessful & wanted to transfer me to tech support. I declined & successfully installed printer on my own.

I purchased this printer for occasional print jobs but find it to be very handy with the quality when I need to use it for scanning to quickly get docs off while I WFH,

No problems with printer till the extended warranty expired. Continues to emit error code. Can't use printer although it is like new. No updated driver available from HP.

This all-in-one printer comes almost ready to use out of the box. Simply remove the packaging material, plug it in, and download the HP Smart app to complete the setup. It'll guide you through connecting to your wireless network, setting up your Instant Ink account (more on that below), and aligning the print heads. I've tested printing from macOS, iOS, and Windows. The Instant Ink is an ingenious idea! Basically, HP will mail you ink before your printer needs it. It is based on a per page per month subscription plan that you sign up for which ranges from 15 pages for free to 300 pages for $9.99 per month. Note that a photo counts as a page, but it does not matter if it is an 8x10 or a 4x6. It's definitely a different way to think about the costs of your ink cartridges, and it may even change when or what you print, similar to the way you used to manage your minutes on your cell phone plan. You are able to manage your Instant Ink account online and see how many pages you have printed at a glance. Scanning was just as easy as printing. Add something to the flatbed scanner and you can either choose the scan option on the printer itself, or use the HP Smart application for Windows which provides more options. It scans documents fairly quickly, but it does not have an automatic document feeder so may not be the best option for scanning multiple pages at once. One tray (no separate photo tray) I really like this printer and especially the Instant Ink service which I think will save me money this year compared to last. It seems like I was always making a trip to Best Buy to get ink every single time I needed to print anything with my old printer. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a color inkjet!

Great for those who need something not so complex. Does the job for my sons school work and little jobs . Not so great on ink . The cartilages are small and run out quickly . Good product still.

It is not a super fancy printer but it does the basic functions. It works for me printing out things I need to review and for my child's reports at school. I do like the feature of being able to scan docs from my phone too.

I bought this after my Officejet 4630 gave us the ghost. I had to set up my preferences (doubled sided copying, in color), but it is a good, basic printer for my home needs.

I bought this printer a few months ago. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I bought it on sale and was able to set it up and start printing in less than 15 minutes.

Got this printer just to print a few pages a week. For the price it’s great, uses minimal ink and the refills are inexpensive compared to other printers I’ve had in the past.

When I was shopping around for a printer, I was not quite right is this one the one I needed, but now that I have it in my office, I know this was the right decision.

I paid $49 for this printer. It has a very cheap feel to it, BUT it prints very well. I like the cheap ink renewal options. The color printing is excellent and I have used the scanner/copier several times.

if you need to print home work or important stuff at home this is the printer for you connects to WIFI and you can print from anywhere even if you are not home. not good for pictures

Still using as my main printer. The only thing is you can’t leave it on because it will lose WiFi information and will have to reset computer
