Never could connect even after hours on the phone with tech support problem was never solved. Wifi will not work either. I have to have it hard wired to my computer. I suggest finding a better printer.

First, for any issues with wireless connectivity, I recommend running through this troubleshooter:

I also recommend making use of your warranty with regards to the other complications you mentioned. HP printers generally come with a 1-year warranty from their date of purchase, so you can verify yours at this link: support.hp.com/checkwarranty

There's an ERROR CODE that pops up in the Display window and while the computer seems to work, everytime I want to print I have to get rid of the ERROR CODE before I can use it. That's OK if you have lots of time but sometimes you don'.t I'm still dealing with HP on the 2nd printer that they sent me as a replacement...not sure where to go from here.
