Slow printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had HP for years but I needed a smaller printer for minimal printing. I don't print more than 10 pages per week. This printer is not worth the money even at a deal. It falls off the internet on it's own. I took the easy replenish ink but yet to get this set up as the printer is always claimed by someone else but I am the one owning the printer. It is a waste of time. Invest a few dollars more or look for a holiday sale and buy a better brand. I did add a 2 year plan so this junk is going back to the store as soon as stores are back to normal!

Posted .Hi, Sandy.
I'm sorry to hear that your printer is yielding prints slowly and not maintaining a reliable wireless connection. I can easily understand this would be quite a frustrating combination, so, if you still have the printer, let’s see if I can provide you with a few helpful suggestions to help remedy this.
First, I recommend that you follow the steps in these documents that cover improving print speed:
- Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409
- Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898
I also suggest you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various problems, including wireless connectivity and printer-offline issues. Visit that page here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If either problem persists, I hope you’ll contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer start to double space and print lightly so I figured it needed ink. The ink was fine so I completed the self clean and realigned the print heads. Still not working. I updated the drivers and reloaded the software. Still not printing clearly.

Trash. Takes you an hour to print just one page.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connection is unreliable, sometimes undetected by PC. Always try and error every time you print and you have to do all the tricks you know just to produce a copy. The last time I did I have to transfer the file from my laprop to the cellphone and wirelessly connect to this printer to be able to print. Really very taxing and time-consuming. HP should just produce laptops and stop making printers they're not good at. It would make this world a better place.

Second bad printer from HP
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HPs reviews don’t seem real. We’ve owned three HP items and they’re all horrible. I was replacing my annoying Envy 4500 with this printer only to find out that the reviews aren’t true and it has the same print quality issues. It can’t be aligned and the black cartridge is causing streaking, which is typical of HP ink cartridges. I constantly have to restart my computer because there’s something wrong with the Wi-Fi hardware. This will be my last HP product. I should’ve listened to my gut, not all of the strangely positive reviews. :-/

Great for a couple months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We don't use our printer often. But now that the school year has started, it became time to change the cartridges. Since then, sometimes it prints blank pages (Even when making a copy). Sometimes it prints striped pages. Sometimes it say the ink is too low in brand new cartridges. The most recent problem is that it tells me my cartridges, from Best Buy are counterfeit. My kid's grades are suffering because of it. We have thrown away all the packaging and paperwork, so I doubt we can return it at this point. What a frustrating waste of money!
