Very nice & affordable printer/scanner

I have only used it for printing documents, so I don't know how well it works for printing photos. It is also works great for scanning. Operation is quite simple. I really like the instant ink program as well. I did have problems with the initial set up of the printer. I contacted HP Support online. The customer service representative remotely took over my computer and did the set up for me. 5 Stars for the HP Support too!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The HP - Envy 5055 makes very fast, vert crisp, 2 sided documents, both black and white and color. Even when the quality slider is moved to the lowest amount, the results are good. I have a Mac and the reason I did not give it 5 stars is that scanning is no more than taking a photo of what you want scanned using the downloaded software. I believe there is another way with Windows. But as a printer or copier, it is better than my previous Canon at 4 times the price.

I did not need one that claims to do it all. But I will confess, this printer is perfect for me and it performs perfectly for what I need. I must include the easy set up, also. I had my doubts about how to set up, but if you follow the simple steps, you won't fail. I had my printer set up and printing within minutes. I am very pleased with my purchase.
