Great printer at a great price! Easy to follow initial set up.

It’s a good printer for the printing plan options and good quality printing for general use but not for photos. Why? Because the photos turn out darker than it was on the camera. I use iPhone and every time I print out with this printer I have to adjust the brightness of the original picture otherwise will turn out darker than the original picture.

This printer was a complete impulse buy as it was on sale for less than $50 at the time. I already have an HP 8600 Office Jet for my home office, so I thought this would be a nice printer for family homework, etc. and would not require the user to haul up to my 3rd floor office. Setup was very easy and all through my smartphone. Performance is very quick and there is also a "quiet" mode which doesn't print as fast, but much more quiet. I suppose it would be a nice feature if you had a sleeping college roommate. All the menus are intuitive and if you don't understand they instuructions, almost every prompt has a provided video - very user friendly. Only downside: the cartridges are very small and as a result, you don't get many print outs per cartridge before you have to replace. The black ink was replaced within 3 months of occasional use. Replacement cost is about $25 a cartridge, which isn't terrible. There also an XL version of the cartridge which I have yet to purchase, but supposedly gives longer life.

great printer easy to setup and use works with any device computer or phone

So far I'm pretty happy with this, I had to replace a 2nd printer that had a refillable tank that kept clogging so I'm back to regular printers. The first black cartridge ran out pretty quick, but I don't print a lot. It was pretty easy to install, just still trying to figure how the scanner works.

Compact foot print that allows us to take this along when traveling. (We travel by motorhome.) Setup was simple and quick. Combo ink cartridges may prove a drawback. Time will tell. I will miss the document feeder and duplex printing of our old printer but the trade off of portability is worth it.

easy operation and setup great quality and fast printing

Bought this for my daughter's dorm room, and it fits her needs. The only drawback is that the college tech team had her turn off the wifi feature, and use a USB cable instead (so everyone could not access it). So, unfortunately she loses that feature. No heavy use of the printer yet, so I can't speak to all of its capabilities, but the print quality has been good so far.
