The 4x6 photo tray is a bear to get to work properly. After struggluing to get it to work I found out a lot of other people have the same problem. I never did get it working. The standard paper tray works perfect

the product was very good fo r the money. It performed quite well. My only complaint is that the ink supply was not substantial.. I had to get new ink jets within 3 weeks They should last longer.

Makes good copies but we can only print 4X6 or 8X10 NOT 5X7. Could get no real answers from anyone in the Bend store. We are not happy with the one pic tray.

After hours spent getting this printer to print on my wifi network with two computers, it wouldn't scan no matter what I tried. I took the printer back.

This printer started off working great but within the first 3 months of mild/moderate use it began glitching and completely stopped working. Not recommended.

When I installed printer, it would print black and white only. Geek squad at Rapid City Best Buy told me printer is defective, bring mine in for exchange. I did. Customer Service told me factory warranty only, gave me an 800 number. Called Hewlett-Packard, a recording gave me a website, which is the same as online troubleshooting. Best buy won't refund, fix, or replace, HP offers nothing. I will NEVER buy from Best Buy again.

Printer is just fair - expected better performance from HP and for the price I paid. Used the scanning feature first time this evening - grinding noise, horrible. Can I return??

    Connection problems

Printer is great when it works. Would randomly shut off or drop the wi-fi connection, until it finally would not connect at all. It kept saying "offline' when we tried to print. I'm fairly tech savvy and couldn't get it to re-connect to the system, even after connecting it directly to the router to use over the network. I will avoid HP printers from now on since this is the second one in a year to do this same thing.

2 months in on new Envy 5660,it had to be sent back to HP.Ink sensor seem to have went bad.Was not happy when replacement was a certified refurbished. The other problem was the ink.It was the instant ink only.Had to sign up online to even make these work.So now i'm having to pay monthly for replacement ink for now. This will be my last HP product.I have had 3 HP printers in 3 years.I'm done with HP.

I bought this printer without the extended warranty, used it for about a week then went on a trip. When I came back from my trip and tried to turn on the printer it would not power on. I tried plugging it in to several different outlets around my house with the same results. Unfortunately for me it was past the two week mark for returns so now I have a huge paper weight. All in all I would not buy this product if you are in the market for a printer.

I made a bad choice. Even HP can't tell me how to make it work if I don't know my "instant ink" number. And it seems they don't know it either.

We were told that this item was the replacement for our previous printer ,an HP, which had a print head malfunction. It was much simpler to operate, whereas the Envy was far too complicated. I scan to my computer and mainly print photos. We have since purchased the Epson XP640. Much simpler to use and performs very well.

    Fast, Quiet, Easy to Use

Here is our review, albeit we have not had the printer that long yet so I guess these are more first impressions... Pros 1. Integration with Apple products is seamless. We were printing from iphones in seconds. Macs found printer easily. 2. Fast. Not only does it print fast, but the information gets from computer/phone to the printer quickly as well. 3. Surprisingly quiet, especially for how fast it is. 4. Touchscreen, no ugly buttons. Although it could be positioned better (see cons) the touchscreen is awesome. The touchscreen goes dark when not in use; just touch it to start using to make copies or scan. Cons: 1. The touchscreen should be angled upwards a bit more. You have to crouch down to really get a good view. Not a big deal. 2. Documentation on features during setup could be better. After connecting to the internet, you are presented with several features that you can turn on/off, with only a cryptic description of what that feature does. All ours are off as a result.

THIS IS THE WORST PRINTER I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. It refused to print no matter what I did. I even went as far as uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Nothing worked. It does not even deserve 1 star. Taking it back tomorrow morning. I will go elsewhere for a different printer.

I haven't had a printer in years...wanted something that was diverse in features...I may not print pics but if I want to, I'd like that feature...I came across this product first at HHGregg, but Best Buy had it cheaper...was a great choice! Easy to use, especially with wifi, it has optons for print outs for activities, which is good for my 4 year old, I love that hp does the instant ink to your house, and it seems to print very quickly with great quality. Also the ink cartridges are cheap compared to other brands. I really can't say enough about this printer, I'm glad I chose this one :)
