Q: If color cartridge runs out will it allow you to print in just black?
A: You do not need to replace the cartridges until print quality becomes unacceptable. If one ink cartridge is causing problems or is low, you can remove it and use the single-cartridge mode to operate the HP ENVY 5660 series with only one cartridge.
Q: Will Envy #5660 software work with OSX 10.10 Yosemite?
A: Intermittently. If you reset your computer, router, and printer every time you want to print. It will occasionally print the document or photo. If you have an Apple product, I would highly recommend avoiding this printer. I have wasted HOURS trying to get it to print from my Mac or iPhone.
Q: can the HP-ENVY 5660 run on windows 10
A: Yes it can. The printer and software are compatible with Windows 10.
Q: can I print from my Iphone?
A: Unlikely. I bought this printer several months ago. Supposedly, it will print from an iPhone. And it will print from my iPhone, if I reset the printer, my laptop, my router and my iPhone every single time I want to print something. Its an infuriating process so if you want a printer that will easily print from your iPhone or Mac, I would buy something else instead.
A: No fax, but you can scan & email. There are some that have fax in order to fax it needs to be hooked up to a separate phone line

Q: does this printer have a sd card slot?
A: Yes. On the front left side of the printer there is a circular door. Press the right edge of the door and the door swings open to reveal the SD slot.
Q: will this printer worl with windows 10
A: I bought the printer prior to the Windows 10 upgrade - works great, no problems.
