I would recommend for just color copies. Not all that impressed with the photo prints. The photo tray is only 5x7 or 4x6 and the quality is subpar. And it doesn't print your whole image.

Very Loud. Offers ink program but will lock ink if you forget your payment and you will have to buy separate ink. Has wifi which is nice.

Have only used a few times over the last year and it no longer works. Hoping I can get it going. It was great when it worked.

It was good to start, but only lasted less than 2yrs. Now it won't come on. But it was cheap anyway.

Printer is okay but cartridges are expensive. I recommend this if your printer needs are not high.

Its wifi but never shows up under my print options when I am printing documents.

I bought this item to replace my old 7640 hp printer and this has been nothing but a joke of a printer

Opened the box and the printer screen never came on- so back it went. Never tried it

I have always been happy with every HP product I purchased but this one quit working before the first ink cartridge ran out. It only worked for a couple months then it would no longer read an image to copy or fax.

It's a very nice unit. I recommend to buy it. It's worth it.

I recently purchased this printer on sale at Best Buy. This printer is awesome. I had an Elaine before this and it stopped working properly after a year and a half. I am very happy with the quality of this HP printer thus far. The scan looks awesome and the printer is as good as a laserjet. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants an easy printer. The setup was flawless and simple. My kids could have done it. Thanks HP you have a customer for life!

Bought this printer to replace an older Brother printer. Pretty impressed thus far - very easy and intuitive to install and print. Great quality print jobs! Lots of really great features like the ability to print while on the road and the new Instant Ink program. No longer have to worry about spending a lot of money on ink cartridges.

I returned a print when it wants Canon printer to an online tv retailer for this printer, which was on a one day sale price that I couldn't pass up! It was easy to set up for initial use right out the box. I am able to easily print photos from my phone and scan documents to myself via the app. The pictures aren't as nice as Canon, but they do the trick for my needs. I love that it's mostly quiet when it turns on and during printing. This printer does not have on option for double sided printing from 2 sides to 2 sides. It will only take 2 separate documents and make a double sided page. If someone knows different, please tell me. This is a negative, but not a deal breaker. I haven't yet installed it to my laptop, but hopefully that won't be a problem. For basic use, this printer is awesome. Maybe not for high volume printing.

Bought it as a Christmas gift. Easy to setup and use.

I just purchased the envy 7643 for my business. I previously had an HP 7520 but it quit on me. I thought they would improve since my old one but they've gone the other way. Here are the biggest draw backs compared to the old one: 1. Every time you want to print an envelope you have to take out the regular paper, put in the envelope and reset the side guides. Then of course you have to do that over again once you print the envelope. The old one you just put it on top of the regular paper. 2. when you do have to replace the paper the drawer is very clunky to open...first you have to push in the guide that pops out every time you print something, then you have to reach quite far underneath to grab the drawer to pull out. 3. one other glitch which I can't seem to correct and can't get help fixing is every single morning before printing something, I have to turn the printer off and turn it back on. None of these things were a problem with the last one.
