Worked well for 3 months and the it didnt
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish i could say this machine is wonderful but truth is i recommended you keep looking and buy something else. Mine stopped working at 3 months for some reason and wouldn't print anymore even after switching out the ink and having the troubleshoot itself/reailign its brush. Money gone to waste and now i need a new printer. Oh and the wireless connection dropped frequently.

Posted .Hi there.
Thanks for the review and the description of what happened with your printer. While I’m glad the device worked well for three months, I’m sorry to learn that it stopped working after that despite your extensive troubleshooting efforts. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll provide a resource and some information I hope will make that happen.
I can’t tell from your review what issue your printer faces or why it stopped working. I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

Posted .Hi there.
I’m sorry that your printer has rendered prints so slowly. I can certainly understand why waiting four to five minutes for two pages to print would be an unwelcome surprise. I want to help you remedy this problem, so I’ll suggest some resources that I hope will reach that end.
First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed. Find that guide here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2817150-2408088-16
Also, updating the firmware can often help improve print speed and other performance. You can find out how to do that here:

HP Products Terrible Warranty=Terrible Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer has poor print quality. Always smears. HP Support wants you to do 20 different things to fix it and it never works. Warranty is 30 days. That should have been my first red flag. Terrible warranty equals terrible product. Don't buy HP products!!

Posted .Hi, Scott.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has rendered prints of poor quality, that you’ve tried numerous remedial measures and then been told the device is out of warranty. I want to help you rectify this situation, so I’ll provide some clarifying information and a resource I hope will make that happen.
First, I’m not sure where you learned that the printer’s warranty lasts only 30 days, but that’s not correct. HP printers come with a one-year warranty from their original purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies. This is specified in the BestBuy product listing. You can further verify the warranty on your printer using the following link:
- support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
If a person representing him or herself as an HP support agent told you the warranty lasts only 30 days, feedback of that nature is often linked to fraudulent companies or individuals. We know that fraudulent efforts find their way to people by many means, and often they appear totally legitimate. On our support site we have a section that contains information on how to protect yourself from scams, and what to do if you’ve been the victim of one. Visit that page here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05404707
Regardless, I suggest you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
We look forward to speaking with you and making this right.

Posted .Hi, Sam.
I’m sorry to learn that your printer has been problematic. I can certainly understand why a photo tray that frequently gets stuck and prevents the device from printing would be irritating. I want to help you remedy this issue, so I’ll suggest some resources aimed at making that happen.
I can’t tell from your review what’s causing the problem or how long you’ve had the printer, but you do have support options. HP printers have a one-year warranty from the purchase date that covers basic support as well as hardware and supplies. You can verify the warranty using the following link:
- support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
If your printer is still covered, you can contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find the best course of action.
If your printer is no longer covered, you might consider posting the details of your issue on our support forums. This is an active community of seasoned experts, including some former and current HP employees, who can work with you to get your printer running as it should. To access this, visit the following link:

I hope this helps and, again, our sincerest apologies.
