Not just for Photo printing.

You have to go to printer options and then select "photo tray" from the " paper source" in order to print from the photo tray. I decided to use HP's instant ink. HP sent me ink refill within 10 days. Never have to worry about running out of ink again. The printer is easy to install using wifi setting.

It was much easier to set up than I thought it would be and works great. The only issue I have is that I cannot get photos to print true to color. I have not played with any settings yet so this may be fixable.

I've had this printer for over a year and it's working. The downside like all HP printers is the cost of ink and the lame HP app you have to install on your computer to setup (I don't like the alerts to buy more HP ink from their website).

It scans, prints double sided. Tells you your out of ink before you are completely out. I think the best feature I have found it the app for your phone. There is a Photo/scan feature which allows you to text/email or even fax the document. Technology only gets better!

Probably great printer if ur familiar with printer

The hp prints nicer and communication is better with phone. But for the life of me cant figure out how to change printing size. For example i sell on ebay purchases hp printer mainly for printing shipping labels. Don’t always need a big label most the time i like printing smaller label’s because i save on ink also sometimes packaged is small and i need small label. Other than thar the printer is very well made and will do more than anything ill ever need except small labels lol!! My canon was so simple a idiot like myself could use with no frustrations. Maybe im missing something idk still working on it. Also i went away from canon because the ink was always running out or drying out when I wasn’t using it. Hopefully ink last longer with HP time will tell.
