The laptop really looks good overall. My obly dissapointment was the wifi keeps on disconnecting. I tried to connect it to different wifi's but the problem is still the same. The wifi on the laptop turns itself off after a few seconds. Have it looked at by the GeekSquad but still the same issue after. Camw to the point that I just exchanged it for another brand of laptop.

The value is really good for the specs, but the fan is unbearably loud. Even when only using a web browser, it is so loud. If you are using the laptop in a loud environment, then it would be okay. Planning to use this in your house or a quiet office space would be a mistake.

Laptop speakers broke after 3 weeks, corner or laptop frame started to separate.

Had this computer for a few months and it's dead. Won't turn on won't do anything. Total trash and best biybwont help get it fixed. Don't buy one.

Failed wireles network adapter/driver. Can not stay connected to wifi over 160 seconds. When i went to return the laptop to best buy the demo had the same problem. So its not just one laptop. Dont buy this laptop. There are cheaper ones that out perform this one.

I only last a year before the hinges broke and were not replaceable had to purchase a new laptop.

Geek Squad could not transfer all my information to the Envy. I actually turned in the Envy and bought the more expensive HP Spectre. Geek Squad still has NOT been able to transfer all my information to the new computer. It has been a nightmare to not have this issue resolved over a four week period. It is still NOT resolved.

Product was defective out of the box with a bad GPU. Have had at least 8 interactions with HP on repair...HP now has it for a second time attempting to fix. Was sent back to me after the first attempt saying it had been fix/tested, but wouldn't even properly boot. It has been a disaster so far.

This computer was a real lemon. It kept throwing me off the internet and telling me 'internet connection unstable'. The computer would not hold a charge, even when plugged in over night. Sent it back!

Once again Best Buy has screwed up! This computer was never purchased. We ended up with another brand and model.

I will not buy a single thing again from this company. The quality of service was less than dismal.

This computer is not at all what it's advertised to be. Bought this thing a couple days ago and immediately had issues with connection. I reset the network settings 3 times and it still had issues with WiFi in general. Not only that, but the fact that the battery life is nowhere NEAR what it's advertised to be -- only about 4 or 5 hours. I would never recommend this computer -- or hp at this point, to be honest -- to anyone.

This laptop likely got jumped on by my cat. The top of HP LTs give too much and the screen can crack. Let's talk about best buy and the geek squad. I took this in to the local bb and had it sent in for screen repair. I got a call and emails about the repair and their needing me to call them to authorize the repair. It was with them for three days and got sent back before I had time to call them. Now I am waiting for the LT to arrive still not repaired. You would think that they could wait more than three days to get back to them. It was like geek squad was all put out about waiting for me to get back to them. Newsflash: I am the customer. No more HP products and no more best buy purchases are in my future.

Would not boot after less than 9 months. Spent hours on the phone with HP. Ending up having to mail it back for warranty repair. Cannot take it to local authorized dealer.
