Purchased this unit to replace one that we purchased from Best By that did not function.

The lap top works for my needs at home which is better than this unfriendly survey.

My son loves this computer and that's saying something. He's very hard to please.

Brought 5 laptops for office staff to work in the field. Laptops are expensive.

Returned for a Dell account I am more comfortable with Dell.

I ordered this online. Within 6 months, the hard drive quit. HP wouldn't honor their warranty on this computer. I ended up paying over $300 to have a new hard drive installed (went with a solid state hard drive) and this computer worked much better than it originally did. When I first received it, the protective coverings were gone. It made me wonder if the laptop I had ordered was returned or previously used. I had purchased it as a new laptop, which made me rather disappointed. I will never order online through Best Buy's website again.

I will not buy another HP laptop. I dont think its that fast first of all and secondly the hinge has already broken so I really cannot close or open without fear of breaking the screen. I dont like this laptop at all.

Screen cracked appeared 2 months after purchase without any known cause. Did not drop, smash or otherwise accidentally damage, and now that this is happened, I note that there are posts that others have had the same issue. Repairs are going to cost more than 2/3rd of the original cost. Very disappointed in workmanship and quality. Been totally happy with HP product - until now.

Do not purchase this laptop! It must be demon possessed! It was a nightmare! Finally one smart Geek acknowledged the screen was defective! It was a nightmare for me! Do not purchased. I have lost my faith in HP .

After 12 months and 20 days the hinge broke suddenly. What a joke they would make these so cheaply. Never again will I purchase this style! Rip off!

This was one of the most frustrating purchases I've ever made. We bought it and shortly afterwards, there were issues with the screen and the OS failing to load. We sent it to HP for warrant service and they refused to service it. I'll never purchase another HP product again. This was the most annoying computer purchase ever! I might as well have thrown away $700. :-(

Returned computer. Keyboard wasn't lighted, function keys were small and hard to use. I use function keys for excel and to activate them I had to press the FN key also.

I've only used this laptop very lightly for a few months and I have had to send it to HP twice for repairs. It's a piece of junk! Keep in mind repairs cannot be done locally or it voids the warranty so when you send it to HP you are without computer for 10-15 days..

one month out of warranty and this HP hinge broke with light use and has detached the screen. HP does not make a durable laptop, and I would never buy an HP brand again. Felt need to leave review to protect others. HP very very bad stay away.

Have had the laptop for just over a year and similar to other reviews, the left hinge broke. It appears to be a plastic piece that snapped and the screen no longer works. The cost to repair is not worth it. I was hesitant to buy an HP, lesson learned.

i spent more than 700$ on this latop and not in a month the screen cracked and i dont have any clue how i got crack . i was very protective about my laptop but still it got craked and now the cracking is expanding. i talked to the best buy member and he said you have to replace it for another 100$ or so.

I bought it for my sister in Vietnam. I thought that she would love it but she said that it is quite slow. I am disappointed!

It is not good for editing software. Just for browsing. Expensive for just browsing. Not recommended to friends
