Outstanding speed and ease
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this for about a month and waited to write a review until I knew how this laptop performed. Setup on this laptop was a breeze, no hassles. It's incredibly easy to use and the speed is blazing fast. Speakers were also a big concern, and these do not disappoint. I also run a lot of apps and the RAM is above and beyond what I need, love it. The only negative thing about this laptop would be that the battery doesn't last that long, but on the plus side it charges up very quickly. Oh yeah, I got this on sale and saved $150. I would and have recommended this laptop to my friends.

Fast but still full of Windows 10 glitches
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The specs are very good but that well integrated between software and hardware. Windows Ink is nearly useless and not well thought out. Whoever designed it never used their design for sure. Touch pad is overly sensitive and no amount of tweaking will solve that so you might as well but a wireless mouse when you get the laptop. How come Apple does the laptop touch pads so well and everyone else...struggles? Battery life is AWFUl. 4 hours tops and 5 only if you cut back on the performance settings and really dim the screen. That in this day and time is pathetic. Other than that it works about like every other Windows laptop. Sometimes well and sometimes frustrating. The Windows Edge browser is awful and it is best to make your first download the Chrome browser. Laptop looks nice but works only acceptable..

Quick response to commands, fast computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently had purchased an ASUS similar to the capabilities of this HP. Unfortunately I had to return it due to the hard drive not working at all even though I was told for months there was nothing wrong with it. Well I was right. Did not want another ASUS so I decided on this HP and I absolutely love it. This is how a computer should respond, quick without delay. Whether it was in sleep mode, no sleep mode, turned off, etc. very minimal wait for the desktop to be ready. So happy I purchased this computer. **you will always have some negatives for any PC you purchase but honeslty nothing has bothered me yet as it's only been one month since the purchase. * Fan is not that noisy all, the battery does drain a bit quickly, but it also recharges extremely fast! *trackpad responds quick *touchscreen is fast * for the price, people should be happy with the quality of this computer!

Decent, quick laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first HP laptop. The start up is quick, computer responds quickly, and the graphics are great. It handles video games perfectly fine. Battery life seems good to far as well. My only complaint is that the speakers don't get very loud. They are fine for watching videos and all, but not good enough to act as a stereo in my opinion. Other than that, I am quite pleased with the purchase.

Very fast
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried three different moderately priced brands of laptops (Leveno,Dell and Acer) and this HP Envy blew them away with excellent performance and speed. It never bogs down while processing multiple tasks. And it updated all the drivers and bios with a simple program that fixed previously reported charger issues.. So far it just amazes me.

The Perfect Gift!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a gift for my mom and she absolutely loves it. This computer handles her daily tasks with a breeze and is quick enough for her impatient quirks, haha. I would definitely recommend this computer to just about anyone who doesn't need something super intense and is looking for a sleek, slim build.

Love love love!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to upgrade my Lenovo for school as my little 4g of RAM couldn’t hack it with programming. I have never had an hp laptop before but it had everything I went in for - 10key pad, light up keys, lightweight, 12g RAM and i5 processor. It’s sleek and beautiful and hit my price point exactly. I’ve been using it for 2 months now and I love it. I use a beefed up Dell laptop for work (their dime) and was hoping for something comparable and got exactly what I wanted. Boots up fast, very customizable, touch screen is fine tho I disabled it cause it’s not something I use. Wish it had a touchpad button to turn the mouse on/off but I was able to fix that myself. I haven’t had any issue with wireless or Bluetooth. Battery life is awesome. For a full size keyboard it packs, it is light enough and small enough i can throw it in my backpack (with my work laptop!) and still have room. Seems sturdy. Very happy with my purchase!!

AWFUL. Computer Died after a year of having it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this computer for just over a year. It worked perfectly fine until literally one day it would not t turn on or charge. Bought a new charger to see if it was that. Called Tech Support they told me I had 2 options. Pay $600 to get the computer worked on or buy a new computer. I paid $700 for a computer that barely lasted a year. Would never buy a HP again. The customer service is terrible. They do not care whether their products work or not. Computer has never been dropped, nothing spilt on it, very well kept. a $700 dollar computer should last more than a year. Very disappointed with the computer and customer service, or lack there of.

Looks great, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Guess I’ll be first to give this a 3 Star. From the moment I powered it on I already have a bad feeling. For some strange reason this pc startup slower than my 5 year old pentium processor laptop that was upgraded to a windows 10. Tried the windows update and still slow. Then it freezes at startup. Looks great, but sadly will have to return it.

Reliable Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop in 2018, and I'm just now considering getting a new one. It's been so great to have and it's been so reliable since I bought it, I've never had any issues with it and it's gotten me through my entire college career. I'm only considering getting a new one because of the battery as it's finally started to lose charge quickly.

It's great when it works
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.- It's an HP so it comes loaded with HP bloatware that's a hassle to uninstall - I've had another HP laptop in the past and both that one and this one has an annoyingly bright flashing light when it's on standby so you can't even have it in the room if you're trying to sleep - Sometimes when the laptop is on standby and you plug in the charging cable the whole thing shuts down - The edges of the laptop are literally sharp and will probably become chipped eventually if you use this for school or work or anywhere besides at home - The edges of the screen pop inwards if you try to lift the laptop up by the screen and overall feels cheap although the touchscreen works well for now - There is some discoloration on the top left of my screen that I think was caused by someone pushing too hard on it All that said, it is still a very stylish and powerful laptop that does not have any major issues for me at the moment. There are like a hundred tiny, annoying issues though.

Geek squad aweful experiance more than once
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop. I purchased it in May.I purchassd the total package. Salesman said 1rst when come get my computer they would add abti virus to my tablet and mobile phone. Person that that was geek squad rep said I did not need it on tablet or phone. Rather argued erogantly about it. Store was so hot that even me whom usually gets cold almost past out. Contacted geek squad by chat, they said they could not help with this. They supposedly got computer set up and got rid of bloatware. So now this still new 3 in one laptop every time I do updates suggested by HP. A yellow or orange keeps saying it has already been done. What did I pay for at Best Buy. I guarantee you. If I call HP and have to bring it back to the store. I dont wabt it sent to HP. I expect them to replace it and put back the microsoft that I spent good money for. They sent my old computer back some years ago. This is too new. I was hesitant to purchase there geek squad again . Now I know why. I really am concerned this store over memorial day weekend gave me a defective computer to begin with. As think was last one. I remember sales person saying they were out. Then saying -oh I did find one.

Great Laptop, But One Issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a great laptop but the battery life on it is a turn off. It runs out of battery pretty quick. I just got it brand new, and it would drop from 100% to 75% in less than an hour. Other than that its crazy fast and super dependable. Just gotta get past the poor battery life.
