Solid machine for a fantastic price with the $200 savings. I purchased TWO for my kids, who have begun battling for computer time for their school studies and projects. Includes plenty of DDR4 memory, the new 7th gen I7 chip, touchscreen and more! Great upgrade from the 5 year old laptop.

This is a great laptop for at-home everyday use. The touchscreen is a well-worth-it feature.

I needed laptop that was extremely quick and responsive. I stumbled upon this laptop when I was doing my research and I couldn't find anything on this exact model since it was so new. I took a chance and it was absolutely worth it. The laptop is very snappy. The screen is beautiful and the backlit keyboard helps when using it at night. The only issue I have is that the battery life is pretty poor. I haven't ran any tests to benchmark how long is lasts during specific activities but I would say I haven't made it past the 3 hour mark without needing a charge. This laptop is very powerful though so I guess that comes with the territory. I am very glad I went with the newest i7 vs an older model. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop at the $800-$900 price range.

This convertible laptop has it all. Super fast, amazing screen, great features, and nice that it easily turns into a tablet. It also props up in multiple ways to complete any task as needed. Very long battery life and fast charging. I do not have one complaint about this HP Convertible.

This is not "cheap" looking laptop! I have no idea why some people wrote that the material was "cheap." It's looks and feels solid 10/10. It's much better looking than how picture might show to those hesitating. It's also very thin! I absolutely love it so far. The only bad thing is the battery calculator which gives wrong "hours left" (I keep it on 'battery saver' and 30% brightness) I am a PC user, I used to have HP Pavilion g6 series whose touch pad is so different so it takes some time to get used to if you are used to the separate buttons for clicking. This has Macbook like single touch pad which you use for clicking & moving the cursor. Also, one more thing, be careful with this laptop, seems like it may obtain scratches very easily (mostly against hard surfaces (desk corners, etc) Overall, it's been 24 hours but I have no regret choosing this ($699) over Macbook pro ($1299)!!!

Purchased this for my husband for Christmas. I decided on this model because of the speed and large hard drive it provided. At first I was concerned about the silver keyboard but the back lighting makes it very visible and my husband is enjoying the increased speed from his old PC.

This laptop was an upgrade for me for more storage. I love the dual mouse and touchscreen functionality! The backlit keyboard was a must. The overall speed and performance is fantastic and I am 100% satisfied that I chose this model over the other brands on display at Bestbuy.

This laptop is very fast and easy to navigate. First bought a dell that was on sale and I will now only buy HP laptops. Dell was way too slow and couldn't catch up to my typing when I was searching on google which is very annoying. I would recommend this laptop to my friends.

There isn't much to say except that I love it! I am amazed at how fast it goes. In the past, my computers have always "thought" before doing what I've commanded. This one does it right away, has a decent battery life, decent sound, and came at a great price. I am impressed!

It’s efficient, the visual quality is crisp. A bad feature it heats up too quick.

Overall this is a very good computer. Best computer I've personally ever had. This laptop has been great so far. Great value, also doubles as a tablet. I am impressed with the quality design and nice display. Firmly built, nice lightweight option. Highly recommend.

This is a fairly lightweight laptop with a decent amount of power for our purposes. We use it for general office work, databases, and PowerPoint presentations, as well as image processing. We have not used it for gaming as that is not what we do. The battery is moderately good - between 4 and 5 hours depending upon what we're doing. It would be good if it were a little longer in duration and this is one of the contributory reasons for 4 stars instead of 5. The other issue we have found is that there is a rubber protector located to the left of the touchpad, which prevents the lid from chafing on the keyboard when closed. While this works well for the function intended, it does also - depending upon one's hand position - tend to press into the left wrist, and can become uncomfortable over time. All-in-all though, we are pleased with this laptop so far, and have been running it for about 2 months.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and helped him set it up. Easy to use, have had no issues with it, long battery life. He was going from a very old laptop to this one - took a little for him to get used to the start menu, touch screen, etc., but he really likes it.

I love this computer. The touchscreen is great when I just want to use as a tablet.

Needed a new computer mainly for work purposes. Good speed, adequate storage.

Bought this for my daughter. Wanted to get a laptop with a solid state drive for the better speed and to reduce weight. Machine has an excellent display, is speedy and is not weighted​ down with a bunch of useless software that has to be deleted. Very satisfied.

I really like the speed and the display. I would have given it 5 stars if it had 3 USB ports rather than only one, and also the mouse pad is pretty touchy even after messing with the settings. However it works perfectly with a mouse. I am very happy with it.

Moves fast. Sleek look. I love everything about this 2-in-1. I can play games on it, highlight in my textbook PDFs, or simply scroll through social media. I've had it for over 2 years and it still moves fast. Great investment!

With some minor quibbles, namely a large amount of HP bloatware, this is a great machine for very little money. Throw in a touch screen, a device that converts to a tablet, i7 processor and 16GB RAM, there really isn't a better machine available.
