$800 paperweight that makes noise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is a joke. It is supposed to be powerful, fast and quiet. However, it is none of those three. It has now been 2 months since I had it and the problems with the noise from the hard drive and slow performance means that HP are now buying it back from me at $30 less than I paid for it as it is too late to return to Best Buy. I highly recommend you do not buy this. After googling various reviews on the internet, it seems I am not alone with these issues.

Complete waste of money, total loss.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this now 2 year old laptop at home on a desk, no travelling, very lite 1-2 hour use a day. The diagnostic is that the mother board must have an internal short so it will coast $800-$900 to repair. The warranty being one year does not help and HP camouflages behind the warranty time limits even though three independent technicians classify it as a LEMON. Now I am advised to stay away from HP by retailers. Too late for the 3 units I bought last year but never too late, HP NO MORE

Junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited when I got this laptop. At first, it was running smoothly. I used it for a couple days, then the screen was frozen. I had to return while I can.

Froze every 30-45 mins
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately I had to return this laptop after about two weeks. No matter what I was doing it would completely lock up and not respond. I would hard reset the computer only to repeat the process after another 30-45 minutes of use. Turns out (according to the HP Support Forums) that this is a very common issue. I'm honestly surprised they haven't recalled them all.

Broken
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately I was unable to fully explore this computer because it was broken out of the box. Style is nice but when you look at the details you can tell it's not a highend model.

Would not recommend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Crashes and freezes not stop. Speakers are starting to go (alot of static) after only a few weeks. Not the laptop I went in to buy but best buy salesman recommended and swayed me.

Very disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge hp fan until I purchased this laptop. First time computer will freeze and become unresponsive after 30 40 minutes of use. I thought it was a lemon returned it and the same issue occured. Even after contacting HP they were unable to address the issue. HP customer service agents were helpful and geniuene as I have always known then to be to bad the product was not. Have always purchased HPs but due to this incident I gave 2n1 Dell a shot and haven't been disappointed.

DO NOT BUY THIS. WASTE OF MONEY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop and the charging port stopped working and upon diagnostics it was figured the motherboard had issues as the port was connected to the motherboard. The flimsy built does not help it either. I contacted HP and they have only worsened the situation. Now I have a laptop that is not functional after 16 months and it costed me about 900$. NEVER BUYING HP AGAIN!!

Don't waste your time!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I set this computer up, installed Office 365, and the computer began to freeze up on me...pretty much anytime I clicked on anything. It was literally unusable. Packed it back in the box, returned it and purchased an Asus Q534U. It cost me an extra few hundred dollars, but I have been thrilled with it. Perhaps I just got a lemon with the HP, but I cannot recommend it.

Worst purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be the worse computer that I have EVER invested in. Within less than a month after purchase, the touchscreen has gone haywire! It's impossible to use the computer unless you restart it. Then MAYBE it will give you a break and allow use. Doubt I'll ever purchase an HP product again.
