My wife hadn't had a new laptop for about 8 years. Me being the tech support of the house meant I was doing frequent maintenance. For the holidays this year I decided to get her a new machine. Though I'm generally a Dell fan, I couldn't pass up this deal (especially with specs similar to Dell's). It's running great, and barely needed anything on my part. She's remarked several times how fast it is (thanks to the upgraded memory). We haven't used it much yet as a tablet; but I am enjoying the touch screen. I'm glad I went with that option.

This thing is great. I love it so far. Very easy to use, light weight, easy to take on the go. It's everything I wanted in a laptop and more.

Product is good and performance is up to mark. Its good and touch screen helps to do lot of tasks without using and touch is very good.

Great touch screen features and good speed. Only con is seems to lose charge quickly when in sleep mode. Overall pleased with purchase.

Love the back light and its light weight. I was looking for a 13 inch screen but for the price I got this computer I couldn't be too picky!

It's been 1.5 years since I bought this product. Worked well initially but gradually the performance has tapered off. The touchscreen works well and is especially useful when working without a mouse. It tends to get heated up quite a bit nowdays even during nominal use. The battery backup is also starting to come down. Keeps getting Win 10 software updates too frequently for my liking. Overall an ok product but would not recommend it for someone who needs to run heavy duty software.

Pros: software bundle and hard drive space are great. Touchscreen is beautiful, functional and strong! Keyboard and mouse pad is awesome for those who like it old school. Cons: Had to do 9 hours of updating and research to get it to run quickly - it was super slow out of the box - I almost returned it. Also, this is not a solid state drive which means there is a delay when the computer wakes up ( unlike iPad or Surface Pros for example). Worth it for me - I wanted the cheap TB of hard drive space.

The price was great and sales associate was very knowledgeable. I love the light keypad, touch screen, and the speakers are good.

My teen daughter bought this computer for herself and she loves it!! Fast and easy to set up; and it's been a breeze to use!!!

I have been using My hp envy for 2 days now and have been running all kinds of tests related to what I'll be working with. I'm very happy with this purchase, I read other reviews and 95% are on the positive side. The i7 it's the way to go thank you hp for a wonderful product, solid quality.

Nice clear screen images, love the touch screen option, comfortable and easy to use keyboard. Very fast performance.

This HP laptop is great! The screen is great for vision impaired, the keyboard is very ergonomic and the processor speed is fast!

Really love the screen size and number pad on the keyboard. Very easy to use and good HP update software to keep the OS freash.

This computer is great. I thought the screen would be to small but it totally readable. More than enough memory for multitasking

I take photos and video as a my second job, so I needed a computer that I can take with me anywhere to edit photos and video. Employee helped me pick the best one within my budget for this and I was happy initially with my purchase. I bought this computer back in March, 2017. That same week, I started to notice the screen colors acting weird and fluctuating in brightness density and color at times. This was not OK with me since I needed a consistent screen to edit my work. The very next day that I found this problem, I took it to costumer service and it was switched out for a new one, no problem. I figured it was just a defective computer. The replacement worked great for about 2 weeks, until it started having screen problems again and it would freeze at random times in the middle of my work. After updating everything in the computer system and checking for viruses, it kept doing the same thing. This time I went back and used my Geek Squad insurance and they had to take my computer for a little over 2 weeks to get the screen replaced and "fix " hardware problem. It came back and it did the same thing the next day, both screen and freezing. Now, I'm pushing through since I don't want them to keep my computer for another 2 weeks. Overall, this computer works great in speed when using different apps and browsers.
