Feature rich laptop, but slow & poor back lighting

It had everything I needed; touchscreen, sufficient RAM and storage, and a backlit keyboard with a num pad. The screen was large and sharp and responsive to touch. My first frustration was the incredibly slow hard drive. It didn't help that Office performed poorly and Outlook only loaded some of my IMAP folders, really cramping my productivity. Unfortunately, the backlit keyboard had three major flaws as the final strike. First, the backlight level was not adjustable. Second, it was VERY "leaky" and made bright rings around the keys. And last, the real deal-breaker for me, the thin characters against a silver/grey field were impossible to read (I am not a full touch typist), making the backlight a detriment. As much as I wanted to like it for features nd price point, I had to return it and invest in the far pricier MacBookPro with Touchbar and give up the full touch screen and num pad. YMMV

The customer service people were very patient about answering even some common sense questions and I got to appreciate the product very much. All my questions were answered thoroughly and I felt very satisfied with the transactions. Thank you!
