Bright screen and great memory. Thin and versatile

I love this machine excellent fast and great look.

I needed to replace an old desktop computer that used Vista! It had many viruses and was very slow. Now that we are "Winter Texan", I elected for a new laptop with Windows 10. Easier to travel with. There is a learning curve with Windows 10, but I am transitioning slowly. I may have to get "Windows 10 for Dummies!"

My old HP almost caught on fire (sparks were flying from the battery) and I had to replace it. I went into Best buy with no major expectations for my computer. I just needed a replacement FAST!!! I am glad that I purchased my HP Envy. As always HP has made a great product. I love using it as a tablet to play games.

After 2 days of my purchase when i use the tablet mode the screen window couldnt adjust the laptop screen it blinked a lot . then i updated with hp support and problem solve. after that everything goes perfectly, its a nice laptop the resolution is great, i use it for musical production and goes great.

I only had this laptop for a few days before I chose to return it. I didn't do much with it other than browse the web and return some emails, so I can't comment on it's gaming or other special qualities. The issues I had with it were two fold. First I had problems with the mouse not moving the arrow where I was guiding it. This made signing in almost impossible. If I turned the laptop off and then back on it would usually work the second time. The other problem I had was that the edge that my arms rest on while typing was quite angular and the sharpness of it caused discomfort and redness to my wrists and hands while typing. The discomfort was extreme enough after a short encounter that I would really be unhappy if I used it for any longer length of time. It's a beautiful machine with some great features, but it wasn't a good fit for me.

Great laptop, still going strong after 2+ years. No signs of age. HP make good laptops overall. Just not a big fan of all those HP and other featured software that comes with the package. I always end up uninstalling most of them. Bought it on a great sale at BestBuy

This laptop works well. Lost the power supply though and the model no longer shows up in my order history and the specs for this are common for many models over the last few years. Hoping can find this based on the review. pneumonia

Everything is good. There is only one minor problem, that being that the power cord comes out to easily. I also wish there were more USB ports. 2 isn't enough and if I had noticed this, I probably would have purchased a different model.

I use mainly for work. Im still getting used to the Windows 10. Prefer windows 7 but what is one to do when everything keeps getting upgraded. Im not sure the life of a laptop but my old HP laptop lasted 4 years, lets see how long this one will last! I stick with HP because thats all I know.

Bought it 3 months ago, just because I read the misleading comments here. I bought it $699. Thought it is a good deal for i7, 16GB, 1TB...BUT, this is the worst ever laptop. First, the screen has horizontal glitch in the form of line, from day one. It freezes every once in a while. The so called i7 processor and 16GB memory can NOT handle even the windows. I have NO installed software and still this laptop freezes. Don't be fooled. Don't be misled. I am sending this nonsense for repair to HP. The only thing good about it is you can easily contact customer service, though it is USELESS and they cant solve your problem. Again, telling you, don't think these specifications are great. WASTE of TIME and MONEY. Will never recommend this to anyone, even my enemy. Look at the screen glitches in attached files.

We purchased this laptop & so far are liking it, but I HATE that it doesn't have a CD slot inside. I have jump drives that I can use to save things to, but I can't save my music to the jump drive when I download music from sites like ITunes. That's really the only complaint we have so far.

Got this to replace my Specter 360. It's is slower at loading than the 360. It's nice to have the large screen and number keys, but once you work with a faster computer, it's noticeable. Will likely return and get another Specter 360.

This is a good touch screen laptop but it has few thing which I donot lilke 1. Its size is bigger to use it as a tab after 360 degree totation 2. Since hard disk in not solid state drive so file operation is not so fast sometime

Despite reviewing the laptop prior to purchase, I am only somewhat satisfied. With only two USB ports it is hard using an external dvd/cd drive and other attachments. Not as impressed with this HP as others that I have used.

Bought this for my wife who is practically computer illiterate. She likes to facebook and take digital pictures and edit them. This has made it easy for her to do so. Best of all the online guidance helped her do it by herself without having to rely on me to figure it out for her.

Very nice looking laptop. Definitely is a macbook killer by all means. It does have a SATA hardrive but am not complaint since it was indeed 1Tb of memory which is all well for the price. I have the 16 GB ram ver with Intel icore 7. Very well functional laptop. For minimal gaming.

Bought this as a 2nd laptop to keep in house and for my husband to learn on. Love it. Easy to use, graphics vivid. HP is always a fan of mine. Love that you can fold back the screen and use like a tablet (touchscreen) !!! Versatile, lightweight. HP always a good product.

Bought this not being sure how much i would miss not having a CD drive. Find I really don't need the drive. Computer is fast, quiet, clean. My only complaint is that the screen, which is great, isn't bright enough to use outside in the sun. Outside of the screen its been super.

I'm not an expert but it is a nice computer.. I really like the anti virus software from best buy.. does everything I want it to do... not a big fan of the internet explorer designed by Microsoft.. very quirky and doesn't work with every sight like firefox or chrome
