Overall I am happy with the computer, but it is much slower to open when it has been turned off than my old computer. I am not a tech person, but understand it does not start quickly as it is not solid state.

I've had 4 other laptops, and this one tops them all. Great quality build, powerful processor, amazing graphics, and an all-around nice laptop. The only con I would give it is that the key board feels under par because it's plastic and everything else is of better material.

I bought this computer to replace my old HP computer. Honestly, I wasn't looking to buy HP again. Nothing against the maker but I was looking to get an Asus or Lenovo. However, none of those computers were what I was wanting. This computer has everything I was looking for.

It's pretty good, but with the specs it has, I'd really expect it to fly since it's got an i7 and 16GB of RAM. Sometimes it still chugs along like it's got a Pentium. But it's doing what I need it to do, and I'll upgrade it to an SSD when the warranty expires.

I gave up my desktop computer and replaced it with a HP Envy 15" laptop. Love how easy the transition was, and the Geek Squad was so helpful in explaining the benefits and features. The hardest part was the transition to MS 365...not as easy as I was hoping it would be.

I'm enjoying the slim line of this laptop, & it starts up pretty fast. The only issue I've had is pages closing unexpectedly. Not sure if it is a glitch with the computer, or something wrong with the browser version. Overall, this seems to be a very good laptop.

The laptop is great, nice specs, good build. But the exhaust fan is below so if you work it keeping it on the lap not really great idea. It heats up a little bit but thats expected of a low voltage dual core CPU, other wise its a beast ( dont expect gaming though).

I'm more of an apple product person but was looking for something with touch screen for photo editing. Once Adobe suite was installed I noticed that it's very slow and was giving me issues with larger files.

I researched my laptops, including Surface Pro and Apple. The Laptop I purchased fit my needs and convenince use. The sales person did a great job helping me to male the right decision. I would recommend this laptop to anyone on a budget. Thanks BestBuy!!

I am a business consultant who purchased a Lenovo laptop for personal use and then used it for business. My last day of working at the site my laptop just crashed and I needed another laptop and that is the sole reason that i purchased another computer.

new Windows 10 isn't as user friendly as 7 and 8 i haven't had time to enjoy or use it yet since it is such a new operating system.. I never did switch from my desk top and laptop yet keyboard on my Toshiba is easier to see and type on. I love my HP desktop and keyboard. i do a lot of keyboarding and ergonomically a desktop is better for my arms wrists and hands. laptops are great at a stand up desk or on my lap casually. i am 49 so not your average up on tech consumer - not up on it at all my son liked his so i bought mine.I am sure it is fine just haven't had time to learn it. Best buy was wonderful and replaced it when i showed up the next day and computer performed normal for them.

I am satisfied with this product despite the fact I was forced into buying it because my old laptop crashed. I was also not interested in moving to WINDOWS 10. Even though the W10 security hole still exists, the transition from my old Win7 has been smooth.

Just purchased this for my wife. We have been longtime Toshiba fans but the last one didn't work very well so decided to try something new. Started out ok. The computer on startup was a little slow which surprised me since my experience with computers in the past has shown me that computers generally start quickly when you first purchase them and eventually get sluggish after a while. After using this computer for a few days we started experiencing problems and it would then immediately shut down and show the blue screen of death. Tried a number of fixes and finally had to reinstall the operating system. Seems to have worked but now I am worried it may happen again. Hope not!

Tried the route of ordering a computer on line without success. Went to Best Buy and chatted with the sales representative about the computer I researched and found his knowledge and my information a match for my decision to buy. Very stable computer.

The laptop is very good from configuration point of view and also the performance. The only negative is that, I found is that for the same Screen size this laptop is too bulky and big. Other then that this laptop is very good and a good purchase.

This is our first HP computer. In the past we have ad Dell computer, and I also use an IPad. This laptop is very easy to use. I am an accountant and do some work at home, so the "10-key" pad on the right side of the keyboard is very convenient.

I purchased this HP for grad school--I have a Mac that I love but wanted a larger screen and built in number pad for "work". No issues at all, haven't used it in tablet mode that much but it seems great. Overall, just good things to say!

I love this laptop and the versatility it his for all viewing situations. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I believe it should of had an ssd as well as the 1 terabyte hard drive. It would have increased speed tremendously.

I did a lot of research before buying a new laptop and feel this is a great product at a great price. It is a lot of machine for the price. The display is beautiful and it has great sound quality. Also like the build and material quality.

The HP envy laptop is a very good laptop for my college student. Set-up was easy and he has used it daily since the purchase. Battery life was not as long as we expected though.
