    This is a great laptop overall. Relatively less expensive with very good specs. However when mine came out of the box it had a screen glitch. Over a couple of weeks I realized it wasn't getting better so I took it in to Best Buy and the Geek Squad helped so much! He told me these laptops occasionally have problems with their "flex cable." He was willing to completely fix my computer, but when he realized I couldn't get the part I needed he just gave me a brand new computer! I now have the newer version of the HP Envy. In the end, I would most definitely recommend going to Best Buy/ Geek Squad if you ever have any issues, but maybe get the newer version of the Envy. It's a bit thicker and I think that helps to protect from the issue I had.

    Laptop sound went off when plugging Monitor (w/ no speaker) into HDMI port. HP took 3 people and 3 hrs and then wanted extra money to set default speaker to laptop. Was going to return the laptop but a call to Geek Squad took less than 10minutes to change the default speaker.

    I expected a very good and fast response from this laptop, but it totally disappointed me. So, I went back and exchanged it with Lenovo Yoga (8GB RAM) and it delivers a much more faster response than the HP Envy.
