I had an internal microphone problem in my new laptop, I went to the geek squad service. Despite having a warranty, they told I can be charged an extra fee for fixing it. It was disappointing for me. I came home, googled the problem, and fixed myself.

So far the laptop performs great.Very easy to set up

I researched PC's for nearly a year, mostly because everything that had the specs I wanted within my budget, remained sold out everywhere due to the pandemic. I went into the store because everything was still sold out online, and I hoped to find the laptop I'd decided on, in stock. They didn't have it, but what they did have was the next gen of the same model ready to rock and roll, and on sale. I wanted to love this laptop for so many reasons, and give it better than one star... Video calling, flip to tablet to hide the keyboard from my 4 year old, my 20 tabs all open to different websites, the ability to multitask, interact with my decade old Photosmart, finally compile files into one external drive from a dozen places, and help with endless paperwork during each of our month long quarantines. I opened it to tablet mode today, working perfectly, closed it when I was done, and when it went to sleep it DIED. THANK GOD FOR WARRANTIES. Really angry about my files. Spent 3 hours with HP chat bot, with no useful help. Of course if they can't fix it, it's getting replaced, but honestly I expected SO MUCH MORE for what I invested in this product. At this point I worry if it could break easily again... since apparently others are seeing this happen to their computers also. Just wanted a PC that could handle my life, and my needs... (Insert angry frustrated swear words here)

Computer has been serviced by Best Buy because it ran INSANELY slowly and the fan was on NONSTOP, but as of today it is completely DEAD. Does not turn on AT ALL. Disaster.

The computer started crashing after about 1.5 yrs and motherboard failed after only 2 years.

it is a fine laptop but i returned it because the silver colored font, on silver keys on a silver keyboard is not functional for my middle-aged eyes. seems like HP chose sleek design over function.

Bought this for my daughter to use for her online school. It was great, she loved it until the hard drive was no longer detected. Defective hard drive in less than 6 months.

It's a decent computer, but it has the microsoft virus on it, meaning there is so much microsoft on it that takes over what you try to do. It's a very frustrating experience.

Insanely LOW battery life. I'm extremely disappointed by this, as I would really like to love this laptop otherwise, but the awful battery life. Especially when compared to HP claims. To late to return this laptop.

I had nothing but problems with this laptop. Slow, overheated constantly and kept crashing. Exchanged it for another one and the second one did the same thing.
