Why did I want a laser printer?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far I'm not thrilled. It leaves gaps in my printing projects and smears ink on the back of the page. It forgets how to communicate with my laptop. It's a pain to load paper because there's no clearance-- the drawer is right against the desktop. This is my first laser printer and I'm about ready to trade it in for another inkjet. Of course it's possible that I just don't know what I'm doing, but the manual sure doesn't help.

great choice for home use with occasional print..

Inkjet would have sucked $50 cartridge cost per year, even with minimum use, but laserjet toners don't dry out, hence very little spent on ink so far.
