Instead of buying a new drum every time, I just bought a new printer. This printer was significantly more than buying a new Brother printer. After using this printer for a few weeks, I don't know how I went without the features that this one offers. It is definitely worth the extra change you'll spend on this one. The only drawback to some may be the toner cartridges are a bit pricey.
