I purchased this printer because the GEEK SQUAD found that my Windows 10 program in my new HP Computer was corrupted. Because of this they could not guarantee that my 5 year old ink jet printer was not affected. Best Buy had this model reduced because it was being replaced with a new model (m428fdw). It took me hours to this get this printer to work. In fact, I never was able to set it up wireless as it always caused a critical error. As I was getting ready to return it to Best Buy I discovered that you need to download "HP PRINT AND SCAN DOCTOR." This is downloaded a firmware upgrade which will corrected a major problem: whenever this printer goes into sleep mode it will go offline and needs to be rebooted. I still cannot use the wireless option but at least is stays on line. Luckily I took out an extended warranty as it may still have to be replaced.

Called HP and spent 3 hours on phone picked up next identical replacement and same issue. I even spent to have my IT guy check it out and had never seen it before! Internet connection is fine. Computer is fine. Printer software is up to date. But I always get the error. Then I restart the printer and it works ONCE. The next time I try to print something: CAN'T CONNECT TO THE PRINTER. I went ahead and bought another printer that works perfectly. This one: DON'T BUY IT!
