I was looking for a new printer that did not “eat” my ink up when not in use. I stumbled across this printer and done some research. It works wonderfully. It was very easy to set up and get it up and running. It prints out very nice quality pages. The only downside for “me” is the display screen could be bigger so it’s easier to navigate around it, but that’s the only minor negative I have. Keep in mind this is a kinda large printer but I’d definitely recommend it.

This is my first laser printer and I love it. It is so much faster than any of the inkjets I had previously. It makes you wait a second or two for that first page but then they come out in rapid succession. The quality of the printing is great and the colors are beautiful. I was very happy with the size of the printer, it doesn't take up any more desk space than the ink jets did although it is a little taller and heavier. Another thing I love is how long the toner lasts. I bought the printer in January, its now October and I am still using the starter cartridges. There are alerts that let you know if the cartridge levels are getting low and then very low. You can snooze the alert for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or two months and you can also change when it starts to alert you. I have mine set to let me know when any cartridge reaches 10%. In the software it says that the toner does not need to be replaced unless the print quality suffers. I have new ones on hand ready to go, however the cartridges it came with have been "Very Low" for almost two months and they are still printing fine. I scan a lot of documents and this feature works well. It hasn't jammed on me. It was easy to set it up to scan to a network folder. All of my scans now go straight to a folder on my desktop. Of course my PC has to be on for that to work. :) I can even print from my phone which is convenient. I have no need for the fax features so I cannot comment on them but for general printing and scanning I can definitely recommend this printer.

Unless you need to print photo quality images, in which case an inkjet is your only option, this is sooooo much better than any inkjet I've ever used. The toner lasts for over a year, the printing is very fast, the software for it is reliable (if a bit intrusive as only HP can do) and it's wi-fi reception is superb. Zero complaints. It's not small though, so double check your space available if you want one.

I have been using inkjet printers for a while (all different brands) but every one of them after a while would start to have issues and the print quality would drop (faded colors, lines across images, etc.) Finally, I decided to go with a laser jet. This printer has been fantastic right out of the box. Print quality is excellent. No issues connecting via WiFi. We can even print from our phones and mobile devices. Certainly worth the extra $$ for a laser printer.

Pros: - Easy to use - Can print over 1k pages before a replacement is needed - Easy to maintain - Allows bulk scanning Cons: - bulk scanning is only allowed at a limited quality - Only allows one internet connection. (WiFi OR Ethernet,can't do both) - Expensive cartridges - Bulky I am liking this printer a lot, but it's hard to find a spot for it since it's really bulky. The printer is easy to use and the Mac makes it even easier to navigate.

For years I’ve invested in a HP ink jet only to seem to run out of one color or another at the worst time, so rip of the band-aid and step up to the HP Laser Jet and couldn’t be more happier with the speed and quality of the product. The sales person did a great job sharing the pros and cons and definitely satisfied with my selection. Definitely cuts down on trips to local print places so big home office help for sure.

Easy to install and user friendly. It is not too big which is fine for a limited space.

I ordered this printer to be shipped remotely in Alaska. I read the reviews and was hoping this would suit my needs. It definitely came through as the print, copy and scan quality is wonderful. I regularly scan high volumes of documents, and it took a while to get the hang of it. I did have to download Adobe reader to be able to save documents as pdf but once this was done everything is just as I had hoped. I have not yet used the fax function.
