Good idea to get if you print a lot of Black and White papers.

Needed an inexpensive printer just to have around the house so gave it a try. Was fairly easy to install but not very easy, had to try a few different methods before I got it working on my network. It's small so doesn't take up much room in my home office. Overall, if you aren't planning on heavy usage, I would say it's a good deal.

It was easy to set up and use. Prints quickly but it is a little noisy.

I would have given 5 stars, but setup was difficult. My son gave up, so I turned to Cox tech support. He had to download the drivers. HP doesn’t make things easy. Finally I got it to print. Quality is excellent. Scans are slow, but I don’t scan multi-page documents so it’s not a problem. T

I have had so many printer problems that the idea of using one at home used to give me anxiety. I bought this printer. It just works. No paper jams. No dried up ink. No crooked printing...and for the price, you can beat it anywhere.

Great printer. The set up and use is very easy. It prints fast and clear.

Copies are fine and easy to use. I am glad I had Geek Squad come to house to install. Unless very computer literate it might be difficult to get it working. If this is for home usage the black and white copying only like this one makes sense and is less expensive than black and white + color models.

Easy to set up, quality prints and great value for an HP

I purchased this in June of last year and I am very pleased with it! It has been used to print more than your average home use and the cartridge of toner prints for quite some time after indicating its low. The print time is fast! I thought I would miss not having color but for what I purchased it for it has been great! I would definitely buy another one!

I was so sick and tired of ink cartridge printers!!! I use my printer occasionally only on average once or twice a month:) Cartridges would dry up and all kinds of other issues when not used on almost daily basis. Going with laser printer is amazing quality and speed of the print top notch and no worry if not used for few months!

I got this printer to use while spending the winter away from home. I need something with copy and scan capabilities. The black only fits my printing needs. Printer doesn't take up much space for an all-in-one. I'm still on the starter cartridge so happy it has some life.

I like that printer, because it working faster and silence. Very nice item.
