I have a less than 1yr old Apple laptop. The cable included w/printer is for a desktop not my laptop. I can not use this printer at all. I need to find the customer support #. Maybe someone at hp can help me. I & 2 other adults gave up after 5 hrs. Down load this, down load that. This is ridiculous. Then I was told I should have not bought this one. Well I didn’t know. I was told get a laser. Better than ink. I got a hp cause I know hp is good. But I guess I totally messed up all together. I don’t remember what I paid for it. But it looks like that’s a learning curve & a wash on my part. The extra sad part is I only needed a printer for a few things here & there. When people need a signed hard copy etc. Thank you for your time Melinda

I’m sorry to hear that your printer won’t connect wirelessly to your Apple computer like it should. It’s easy to understand why the hours you spent trying to connect would be exasperating, so I’ll point you toward some resources that I hope will help.
I can’t tell why your printer will not connect like it should, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

It needs to sit about 5 minutes before it will actually print. Other than that, I really like it.
