||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Too many glitches and error messages. It’s adequate for small printing jobs but nothing too big

Decent, compact
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for small spaces and the wireless functionality. Low cost laser is nice. Cons: printing is crazy slow. About 1/6 the speed of my brother printer. Has a weird external paper tray. Otherwise decent.

Don’t expect high quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.May be many of you don’t know about printing quality but this is not the one you need if you are planning to print labels. It is good if you use just regular daily printing such as letters.

Junk, avoid for lousy software and print problems
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP software is junk, wasted so much time installing it for nothing to work. Uninstalled it all, plugged it in and let Windows do the default install. Paper upload is usually twisted or other problems. Saves space as a laser printer and scanner, which is the only reason I haven't returned it. I am short on available space.

Not very dependable.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some times it works, and some times it doesn't. We have had issues with it kicking us off the internet, printing a partial document, and numerous "printer error" messages. We tried the hard reboot, removing/reinstalling, making sure the drivers are up to date, using the troubleshooter, resetting the cartridge, etc.

HP PRINTER
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good little product but really difficult to do multiple scan pages at once. If you're doing more than one page at a time, this is not the printer for you.

Couldn't get it installed wirelessly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could not get printer set up via WiFi. After several attempts I finally gave up and installed it directly. After the first few uses it wouldn't print so it had to be reinstalled. Then after a few more uses again it wouldn't work and again had to be reinstalled. Very frustrating!

Posted .Hey Terry,
It's so disappointing to hear that the wireless setup process has been less than seamless. This is far from the reliable experience that we intended on, so I sincerely apologize for falling short this time. With that said, I'd like to provide you with some helpful tips going forward.
If you haven't yet, I suggest trying one of the following options for a more reliable wireless setup:
- Download and use the HP Smart app from either a mobile device or computer within the first 2 hours of powering on the printer
- Download HP Easy Start for a step-by-step wireless walkthrough: 123.hp.com/laserjet
- Download and run through the printer's full software package: support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/model/16647096
If this doesn't allow for a successful wireless configuration, please contact us for support. We would be more than happy to get this resolved, so you can give us a call at +1 800-474-6836 between the hours of 8 am - 9 pm ET. To expedite the process, you can gather these beforehand:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Your case number (from prior contact with support)
We look forward to making this right!

USELESS
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hp M 29 is useless. Spent several hour trying to get it working. Used the USB cord, WI FI, HP Smart nothing worked. The printer was not visible to my laptop or desk top. I have HP desktop and laptops but they don't recognize this printer. Terrible instructions also. USELESS. Don't buy. I give it zero stars.

Extremely difficult to set up
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The app to set the printer/wifi up would not work. Tried 2 different phones and 2 different wifi networks, still nothing. Was finally able to link my laptop to the printer via usb and set up the wifi. Still spent several hours just to get it to that point to where it was usable. If you don't have a laptop with a disc drive and usb this would be a fancy paperweight.

Not plug and play
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It shouldn’t be hard to plug and use this printer, unfortunately it took me a while to setup and sync with my pc. But it’s price is reasonable.
