Works very well. I like it better than the ink jet printers I have had in the past. Color isn’t that important to me so it fits what I need

    False Specification Listed

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought this printer because the specifications on the product page on Best Buy's site listed "Automatic Two-sided Printing: Yes". This printer does not provide an option for automatic two sided printing when the full printer software is installed. You have to select two sided printing, click print, wait for the prompt to change the paper, and click continue to print on the other side. I ended up with a Brother HL-L2370DW and their printer does what it's advertised to do, it has the automatic two-sided printing feature and it does it. One manager was going to charge me the difference while the other one didn't, you might want talk about that in your meetings so you're all on the same page.

I can certainly understand how disappointing it's been, and I want to assure you that we take it very seriously. Our product team is currently working with Best Buy to amend the printer's specifications list.

Wireless was not easy to set up, I had to use a cord. No Economy mode for toner. Couldn't figure out manual double sided (not sure if it even has it).

I had a problem knowing how to scan on the HP printer, scanner, copier I bought. The geek squad told me it would cost me $200 to find out if I brought the copier in. Really? I spent $800 on a laptop, speakers and a copier and then they want to charge me $200 more? They said go look it up on the internet. Is that any way to win customers ?

    Poor network capabilities

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

When it works, it is fine. Very difficult to get a network connection as it automatically sleeps, and no way to turn that "feature" off. So, power off then wait on it to reconnect to network (hopefully) but takes quite some time to do that.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has performed poorly. I can easily understand why problems in sleep mode and the need to frequently reset the device would quickly become frustrating. I want to help you get the printer working to your satisfaction, so I’ll direct you to some resources I hope will make that happen.

First, I recommend you follow this troubleshooting guide for LaserJet printers that do not wake after entering sleep or auto-off mode:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04345608

If the problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

Beware this inexpensive but unreliable printer. I have had nothing but trouble. I use MS 10 operating sys. Yet, it prints 2 pages over each other, gives me lots of error messages and cannot print. you get what you pay for. are they dumping these on the market? AhRem

Have been trying for an hour now to get the HP website download to connect to wifi. The included CD does not work either. If I do not solve this tonight, it's going back to the store in the morning.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry that your printer stopped working so soon after you purchased it. It’s no surprise that you’re irritated by this, considering you’d used the device only twice and printed fewer than 10 pages – and that you’ve not received the support you need. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll provide a resource and some information aimed at reaching that end.

I can’t tell from your review what issue your printer faces or why it has stopped working. I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the trouble and determine the best course of action. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
