What I love about HP: Bullet proof and tend to last for years, sometimes well over a decade, under normal business usage. This unit looks to be in the same category for durability and usability. The only problem I've run into is the airprint capabilities. The machine will go into "sleep" mode and drop off the network. It will not auto connect once you wake it up, which you must to at the machine. It takes a "turn off and on" at the machine for it to reconnect to the network for remote printing. So, in short, if you print from your phone after the unit goes to sleep, it will not wake up and reconnect to the network on it's own. From what I can tell there is no way to keep the unit from going to sleep.

There was a time in the late mid 2000s when HP printers where simply the worst. They were expensive, the software was buggy, and the toner didn't last. That's all changed in the last five years. I don't like Multi Function Devices, but this one brings it all together in a reliable package.

Purchased for home office use and this printer has been great. Prints very fast and pages print immediately over my network. I have a server and 9 devices hooked up to it and they were all easy to connect. The automatic duplex is well worth the money compared to the cheaper versions of this printer.

Can do anything you would need for an office. We make use of the printer, scanner, and fax machine on a regular basis and the printer handles it without interruptions. There was a small hiccup with microsoft word but a simple default change fixed it.

This printer is amazing! Prints quickly and documents look incredible. Has some pretty amazing features- copy, sort, stack- for putting to tether multiple packets! Color looks amazing! Connects easily to computer, phone or tablet wirelessly.

never buy a printer with extra protection! a two year plan is the best thing to have just in case, I had it all the best one and this one is one of them with no issues at all. it does everything I need it to do, thanks BESTBUY

So far this printer has done every thing promised. Print, scan, copy etc.

Love this printer. Does everything I need. Great copies and print. Toner is expensive but last a while and I’m saving money that I was spending on ink. Works great with all the devices in the house.

Setup was quick and easy. Connected to wi-fi and internet with no problems. Connected a fax line and set up a printer email address which is a nice feature. The print quality is wonderful. The touch screen is easy to navigate. Overall - great printer.

Great small business printer. Does everything I need it to. Prints and scans double sided. I wish the ink was cheaper. I have tried some off brands but most are poor quality. Printer is great if you can afford toner

Worth every penny. My favorite printer ever! I should have purchased a laser years ago. Ink appears expensive, but you get 2000 copies. I had the office jet 8620 for the 4 years prior. Same great printer, but no smudging and much faster.

HP m477fdw Color Laser Has Lots Of Great Features. Single Pass Two sided scanning and copying DOES NOT require duplexing. Toner yield with XL cartridges produces 6500 pages black and 5000 pages color. In box toner has been increased to 1200 pages. Can scan and copy two sided documents w/ USB stick. Can also print MS Word Docs and Powerpoint Files w/ same USB stick. Unit can even function w/ NO noise, if desired. Know there are some concerns about Mac compatibility, but mine is doing just fine thus far. Even better is fact that Best Buy has lowered their Extended warranty pricing dramatically after discontinuing the "equal or greater value" protection replacement and simply now refunds what each individual paid for unit. If one does not need the two sided printing, they can trade down to the m477fnw for $100 less retail.

Printer is fast. Haven't used it a whole lot yet but have no complaints. My brother-in-law recommended it and he researches everything so I know it's gotta be good. LOL

I needed a wireless all in one printer and chose this HP product after a recommendation from the staff at Best Buy. No problems so far. This printer meets my needs and I am very satisfied at this point.

Print quality and color rendition are excellent. Handles large print/fax scan jobs quickly with ease. Set-up for some features, such as scan to e-mail, e-print from mobile device, is not so easy to figure out.

Pros: prints very clearly and quickly Cons: couldn't figure out where to plug phone line in for fax. It is hidden under a cover near the top on back of printer

I would definitely buy this again if I needed to. This printer does everything that I want it to do and it's fast. The one thing about if is that it's very heavy!

The printer works well with Windows but the Mac has continuos problems from a wireless standpoint. Print quality is average
