This is a great printer!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a good amount of research on printers before I bought this one. I like it very much, it doesn’t take up a lot of space, and it does print well when paired with your wifi. I recommend this printer for anyone wanting a good wifi printer.

HP wireles printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased HP OfficeJet 5255. I was just looking for a printer to replace my Lexmark since I was having issue with getting ink. The set-up was so much easier than the lexmark. No software disc to download everything done wireless. Hp has auto ink refill program so I never have to go out and buy ink again. Love it

Perfect inexpensive low volume printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My in-laws needed a small printer for occasional printing from their laptop and their iPhone/iPads. This ones added scanning as well and fit the bill perfectly. Super easy to setup, and even more important, easy for them to operate. Decently fast, plenty for their intermittent use.

Sturdy 3 in 1 printer and it's cloud ready
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this online. Came the next day. Set up was annoying. It steers you to the Windows Smart HP Set up app from the Windows App store that is totally worthless and after a decent start just spins and spins and nothing happens. Wasted 2 hours .Downloaded from HP directly their Easy Start software and 10 minutes later was all installed. The machine works fine but if you are a Windows 10 user do not waste time with an app from the Windows store. Go to HP website and download Easy start. Also be careful, HP wants to sign you up for automatic ink refills. Pay attention to what you click as you install and you can avoid this. I opted out because as a personal home user my usage is not something that aligns with some kind.of schedule. Also, it worked with my other computer , a Chromebook, in about 10 seconds with no hassle at all.

Great little printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was worried with some of the reviews, but with the price and size I wanted to try it. I live in a small cottage, around 800 square feet with open floor plan. Needed a printer and a scanner. This fits nicely on a shelf, not really lound and servers my needs. The scan function is great and it prints nice.

Good Basic Printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought this printer to replace an older HP printer. This printer was easy to install, and could be installed either wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable. Print quality is very good, paper is easy to load and the top feed for scanning and copying is a welcome change from my old printer.

Easy set-up and great quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this printer when my other one conked out on me suddenly. Shipping was super fast. When I received it, it was really really easy to setup. The printing quality is amazing. And I like that I don't have to worry about my ink running out if you buy the instant ink plan.

Easy to use and HP offers great support.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer was a graduation gift. It is easy to use. The set-up was a little difficult, but HP offered great support. It is a little larger than I expected, but the quality is good. The only confusing part is that you line up the paper to copy in the lower right corner and my printers at work are the upper left.

Great set of features at a decent price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a reasonably priced printer that included a feed tray for scanning and could print double-sided and the OfficeJet 5255 fit the bill. So far, I'm still using the included ink and haven't made the decision to enroll in InstantInk yet, but will likely consider trying the free trial.

Affordable and reliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My mother and I both needed new printers. Hers was broken and I just hated mine. We went to Best buy and decided in this HP. I have always had success with HP printers and this was no different. Super easy setup and it prints great. For a basic all in one home printer, you can't do much better

Does the job
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to replace an older printer that was no longer communicating with my home network. It was way out of warranty and HP wanted more $$ for support than the price of this printer. I discovered when installing this printer that I have two network frequencies - 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz. The old printer operates on 2.4 and this printer operates on 5. The problem I was having with the old printer was actually due to new cell phones operating at 5 Ghz vs the old 2.4. So, things to think about. Newer devices operating at 5Ghz mixed with old devices operating at 2.4 require switching network connections to communicate device to device when printing. So, the printer works well, print quality is good. I actually don't do a lot of printing so I can't speak to how it operates at volume but for a home utility printer it is perfect for my needs and the price is right as well. Oh, support from HP was excellent as well and free under warranty.

Good printer so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is waay better than the EPSON crap I had before. The ink in that one used to dry out so quickly. The quality of the prints/printouts are great, and setup was super easy. I didn't give it 5 stars since I am not 100% about the longevity of the printer. This is the first HP printer I have purchased.

Good printer for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had several HP printers in my home office similar to this one and all have worked great for several years. I use one a lot for scanning and copying as well as printing. This one does a good job, even for printing colored photos, and illustrations for newsletters.

OfficeJet Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently purchased for my home office (remote working) - very pleased with the performance of this model. The only thing is it is a little loud when printing, moved to another room which helped to filter the noise Easy setup with HP Smart and processed nice printout.

Simple, compact, functional
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a HP photo smart with this unit due to the fact we don't (didn't) print that much. It was super easy to set up and works just fine. I am sure it is not as crisp as the photosmart, but that is not what it is intended for. It was a very good price and will just a fine job. HP's are just good printers.

Great printer for college
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I keep this printer on my desk in my dorm room, it works great, I’ve printed more than 200 pages already and it’s the first week, and the quality is always great. It might be a bit too loud or bulky for some but it works great wirelessly in the dorms and also connected to your phone to laptop to print!

Great at home office printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I love this printer! Not to fond of the monthly printer ink membership... but I have been using this more than I thought so maybe it’ll pay off. In all it’s a great at home printer for your office! Plus very convenient to print from your phone, so I love it!
