We go through a lot of printers in my office. We have over a dozen work stations which all include a printer. I always buy HP because of brand reputation and price point. They don't last forever, but they're cheap enough to replace as needed. I have now purchased 2 of this model. It does exactly what it is suppose to do. It prints, it copies, and it scans. The wifi is reliable and the print quality is just fine for an office. I wouldn't use this for high-quality prints of any kind. But if you're lookinf for an inexpensive printer for the work place, you might want to consider this guy!

This printer does it all and it does it well. The set up was extremely easy. I can print documents from my phone, mobile fax has been a life saver, the scanner is of good quality. Unlike most printers, this one won't let you down.

This printer is not too hard to set up. You can set it up on a wi-fi connection, and also us a pin to set it up the same way for more security. It is easy to change the cartridges and great for an office set up at home. Prints well and adjusts settings well.

The printer was easy to set up. The cartridge was bad out of the box. Called customer service. They sent me a new one. But luckily I had bought an extra cartridge. Pop it in. Worked like a charm. Prints pretty fast. Satisfied with my purchase

Ridiculous setup; Good quality once it's running

Set aside an evening with nothing else to do, and have at least a half a bottle of wine in the house when you try to get this printer/scanner/copier operating. The setup is ridiculously quirky and frustrating. Multiple sites, multiple things to download, excessive number of messages telling you that the printer is offline when in fact it is not. Finally, after randomly restarting my laptop, the printer, then one again, then the other, then both, then on and on, they finally connected. Once connected and running, it's a great little printer. The colour print and scan qualities are very good. I chose this because I wanted an all-in-one with a high-quality flatbed scanner. The scans are sharp and precise, and it also will scan through the document feeder. I don't want to jinx it, but it's been dependable and responsive once the setup drama was over.

I have been using Canon printers for the past 5 years because of stated photo print copying, but this has amazed me right out of the box! This HP OfficeJet 5255 was easy to set up, has been consistent with its print and looks better than my previous printers!

The HP Office Jet 5255 Printer is a great printer for this price. It was easy to set up and the print quality is very good. The touch screen makes it easy to use. I had previously purchased an Epson printer for the same price of $59.00. I purchased the Epson for two reasons: 1) The smaller footprint fit better in my small space; and 2) The Best Buy sales associate said that the Epson print cartridges would last longer than those of the HP Envy and save money in the long run. I did not like the Epson at all! It was tedious to get set up on line, and the print quality was poor (very light printing). Also, the controls were difficult to use, as it is not a touch screen. So I returned the Epson and purchased the HP Envy. Fortunately, I bought the $9.00 protection service on the Epson. I’m very happy with my HP Envy!

I needed a printer that would connect to my IPad without any wireless network. The HP rep approached me at the store and guided me to this printer. It connects directly to my IPad through an app. Scans multiple sheets and output is crisp.

I love that you can set it to print on both sides automatically. It prints faster and more quietly than my old printer. The ink is also much less expensive than the ink that my old printer used. It produces high quality copies and prints.

We have had this for a month and this printer is exactly that we were looking for. And was not real expensive. Print, copy, scan and fax. You can do each from your smartphone if you have to. Very pleased with the purchase.

So far I'm very happy with my printer. I like that the paper goes in a drawer rather than stand up behind. Also like the touch screen and the fact that it's wireless. Can now print from my phone or tablet too. So easy to set up for a techno-illiterate.

Purchased for my Mom. Set up was easy and quick. Got her printing from her ipad immediately and the prints look great. This is NOT what you want for your office, or for heavy use, but great for occasional printing and scanning.

I really like the speed and ease at how the printer prints. I must admit it was frustrating, getting the printer to scan to computer. It took 4 tries to succeed. I suggest an easier program for future 5200 series printers.

Good printer for the price. It's the second one I got so I was pleased with the first one. The only downside is the ink cartridges are tiny so you will have to replace them often if you're printing multiple copies. Overall I'm very happy with it!

This printer is great for basic to intermediate printing. Colors are great and the fact that it has a feeder is a plus for when you have multiple pages to scan/copy. Wireless capability has worked with no issues. Easy set up as well.

I needed a new printer and something smaller than my previous printer. Best Buy has a pretty good deal on being able to recycle your old printer and give you a % to take off another printer. This printer is nice and perfect for what we needed at home. The ability to scan, copy, print. The basics. The other neat feature that no need to be wired to computer and its all wireless. And lastly the other really neat feature is the way you are able to subscribe for ink. If you don't need to print a whole lot then ink replacement is free! Otherwise for the price of in for subscription is a pretty good deal.
