Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased this printer based on reviews, after doing a lot of research, to replace a Canon MX350 we've had for years. The major capability I was looking for is a simple wireless setup and ability to support printing from Windows 10, iOS and Android. Out of the box, it took me maybe 15-20 minutes to set up, the instructions were easy and intuitive. I really don't understand why manufacturers ship install CDs, most of our devices don't have CD drives, and everything's online anyway. Installing drivers on two Surface Pro devices was very simple (just go to 123.hp.com/setup), and there was nothing to set up for an iPad, it just found the printer and printed through AirPrint. We don't do a huge amount of printing, so we'll see about ink usage (the one negative I've read about HP printers is that they consume ink like crazy). I chose not to sign up for Instant Ink right now, although I like the idea in concept, I'm not sure we do enough printing to justify the monthly fee. Occasionally we print photos, which I haven't tried yet - will update this review in a few months when we've had a chance to use more of the features. Especially at this price, I'd highly recommend this printer!
