My last HP died after about 10 years with me, so I got this one. EVERY job you print, the printer INSISTS on doing a 10-15 minute "warm-up maintenance". Even if you just printed something 1 hour ago. So good luck trying to "quickly print something" cause no you wont.

NOT for document scanning

Why would you make a machine with a document feeder that cannot scan two sided documents?!?!?!? I get that it can only scan one side at a time but I can find NO way to get this thing put the pages in the correct order when flipping and running again like my prior unit (from the chief competition) could do. I bought this unit when I did because I'm dealing with a death in the family and have hundreds of pages of paper to digitize and this thing is useless for the job on a document longer than about 4 pages (when I can just manually slide the pages in to the correct order before saving the file). But, hey, it prints ok.

I can easily understand your frustration, considering the task you have at hand, scanning family documents after a loved one has passed. There might be a workaround or better method for scanning multiple pages, so I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can share whatever would make this task easier. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

After over a half hour messing with it, something eventually did the magic trick and I was able to get it connected but it was very frustrating.
