I had to replace the yellow cartridge with a new yellow cartridge although the original yellow cartridge had never been used.

However, with 2-sided printing it was taking forever. I tried connecting it to the computer directly (not wifi) and tried another computer. I also tested a couple of photos with poor quality. I ordered it shipped from best buy online and received it two days faster than picking it up in the store. However, after multiple attempts to get results with some efficiency, I boxed it up and returned it. Best buy provided store credit since I'd had it for three weeks, so altogether no complaints for the store but this printer itself was a horrible experience. Could it possibly have been a one-off bad item? Possibly, but I wasn't willing to risk getting a second one.
