Printer works ok but is much slower than our previous one. Not sure what the difference is as it is the same type, just newer version.

I gave it a three because I am having to return it. It won't print because the ink cartridges are stuck.

Horrible. Won’t connect to my wi-fi, then if it decides on a whim to connect it won’t stay connected to the internet in order to use HP instant ink. Wasted HOURS with HP “troubleshooting” to no avail. HP — get your act together! Also very flimsy paper tray. Very dissatisfied with HP. This printer is going back.

When it prints it pulls two or three blank pages with it, and almost every time I print it jams. I have had a couple printings without issues. though.

Returned this printer because of unforeseen issues with setup. Was not able to complete setup and therefore the Instant Ink account because I was not running Windows 10 and could not load the HP Smart app. I was not appraised at the store of the fact that I needed Win 10 to successfully install this particular printer.

The printer is fine. But the Instant Ink connectivity means you will be required to use HP-branded ink. No generics. Even after Instant Ink trial is over. They will not work. It is not a design flaw, it is the design intent. This will be my last HP printer.

This is the worst set up for a printer; one cannot replace the ink cartridges with any but the HP product, which cost close to the price of the printer. The sales associate did not explain this at purchase time. HP should include that information somewhere on their documentation. The 6 months of instant Ink lasted only three months. (I basically printed only using the black ink, For my daily crossword puzzles). By the time two sets of ink cartridges are purchased, one could buy this model over again. Whose bright idea was it to put a chip (or whatever) on the ink cartridge so that ONLY HP ink can be used. I've already spent more than the cost of the printer on ink! I purchased a non HP ink when it ran out after three months, ignorant of the fact that the machine wouldn't work without OEM HP product. I've been contemplating returning this item since I purchased it and now see that I had until Jan 16 to do so, I would buy another brand from BB if they allow the return.

Isn't easy to get around the menu and settings. It gets the job done. When printing multiple pages, the prints aren't very clear.
