||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am unsure whether this product is simply a defective product or a regular occurrence. However; this purchase has been extremely disruptive to my business. We have spent numerous hours wasted troubleshooting to get the scanner and printer to function. Unfortunately, I am extremely unhappy with the quality and consistency of the HP Officejet Pro 8025E.

Posted .Hi there.
I’m sorry to learn that your printer has been so difficult to set up and that it has caused such disruption to your business. It’s easy to understand why spending hours attempting to get the printer and scanner to work without success would be absolutely exasperating. I want to help you find a resolution here, so I’ll offer a resource and some information aimed at reaching that goal.
I can’t tell from your review why the printer and scanner have not completed the setup process and worked as they should, so I’ll point out that HP+ printers come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts who can help you assess what’s going on and find a solution, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:
- hp.com/plus-help
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great right out of the box. Had some problems using the phone to connect it, but managed to figure it out. I miss being able to initiate scans from my laptop (like I did with the previous HP) but again was able to scan when I needed to. The 6 months of free ink is a real plus. So far its been a quite reliable. Had it for a couple of months now.

Low-cost printer for small offices
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP out with another printer to fulfill your office needs. This one comes with HP+. I had no idea what this meant. When it comes down to it, the Officejet Pro 8025e is a good entry level all-in-one printer. The unboxing experience was typical, nothing special. It comes with the printer itself, the ink cartridges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow), power cord, and the guides. The size is what you would expect from an entry level office printer. The display is 2.7 inches diagonally. It is a bit on the small size, but mostly every function can also be done remotely so I was not too concerned. Setup was very straightforward. Setup is when you have to decide if you want the HP+ program or not. I will talk more about it later. First, I wanted to test out all of the connection options in order to print. There is a USB 2.0 port for direct printing. This worked as expected. My computer was able to find it and print. For wireless options, there are plenty. There is Wifi Direct, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and HP's own Smart App. The only one I tried out was the HP Smart App. It really is the only thing that you will need. I found it very user friendly. In terms of the specs, the automatic document feeder holds 35 sheets of paper. It manual duplexing so you have to manually scan both sides of documents. The paper tray holds 225 sheets, and the output holds 60 sheets. I was impressed with the print speed as well. It really holds up to the advertised 20 ppm for mono and 10 ppm for color. The quality of the prints are very impressive. The text is crisp and readable (very important!) at all font sizes. There is some banding with backgrounds but not too bad. The pictures that you print will never go into an album but for business purposes, they are enough. So HP+. Basically, it gives you an extra year of warranty (2 years total), 6 months free of Instant Ink, and recycles your ink cartridges. If you select HP+, you also have to buy original HP ink cartridges for the rest of the life of the printer even if you cancel Instant Ink. Essentially, in my opinion, the HP+ locks you down into their Instant Ink program for the duration of the printer's life. Don't get me wrong, for some offices, this is not an awful deal. In my opinion, if you print mainly in color and get close to the page limits each month, then these plans can be valuable. However, if you print mainly black, then this can be expensive. Non HP ink cartridges can be much cheaper than HP, but if you choose HP+, then you will forever be committed to HP ink. All in all, the Officejet 8025e is a good entry-level all-in-one. It's decently fast and prints well. Whether or not HP+ is right for you depends on your needs. For home use or offices that mainly print black text, it may not be in your best interests. For those that need alot of color printing, then HP+ might be for you. Pros: Decently fast with 20 ppm black and 10 ppm color Good print quality HP+ adds one more year to warranty for 2 total years, and free recycling HP Instant Ink may be worth it if you print alot of color pages (<6.7 cents a page) Cons: Manual duplex scanning HP+ locks you into HP ink cartridges for the rest of the life of the printer HP Instant not worth it for mainly text

Posted .Hello Alan,
I'm so sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with this page yield you are getting when printing with this device. I can definitely understand why you would feel frustrated in this situation. This is certainly not the experience we are aiming to provide so let me help you.
First of all, I do want to mention that the page yields advertised are just an estimate value and vary with the density of the prints. Regardless, there are some tips you might try for limiting ink consumption:
- You can use the printer's draft mode setting, whenever possible, to save ink.
- It is worthwhile to perform printer cleaning procedure, instruction can be found in the User Manual.
- Shutting the printer down between uses can also help; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That lets the printer “park” itself.
- Using the font that requires less ink is advisable.
- If you suspect that the low page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, you are always free to contact the Vendor/Seller of that cartridge.
Additionally, I would recommend checking out our instant ink program, it might be worth a try. Many customers like our available plans. They're based on how many pages you print monthly, ultimately saving you money. You can check out the details at: HPinstantink.com
Furthermore, please don't forget that you are always welcome to contact us for support. We'd be more than happy to help you. You can get in touch anytime via your preferred method here: support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

Ink can't be found
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in May, it is now October. It would say my daughter's Mac was connected but yet she was never able to print. I figured I could live with that because my computer could print. The problem is just this short time later the ink cannot be found anywhere. They should not have been selling this product if the ink was going to be unavailable.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It did not work out of the box. There was an error message regarding the ink cartridges.
