Earned zero stars
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give it zero stars I would. Bought in February, minimal home use and 8 months later it has a code that won’t clear. Many (at least 4) online chats with HP yielded zero results, only after a phone call to an actual person they offered a refurbished unit. We moved on to an Epson....my last time being disappointed with HP.

Value priced printer with a slow scanner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP has been making inkjet printers for more than 20 years. For nearly as long, others have been trying to profit from HP’s ingenuity for printing. With the 8025e and it’s brothers, HP pushes hard for its customers to choose only HP ink. The company bribes customers with an extra 2 years of warranty and 6 months of free printing (12 months with the 8035e for $30 more) if you agree to only use HP ink. After 6 months, HP encourages customers to maintain a subscription to HP’s Instant Ink program with prices ranging from $0.036 / page to $0.066 / page, depending on your projected volume. Printing is relatively fast and clean. It will print double sided automatically either from your desktop or phone app. HP really wants you to use the phone app and requires it for setting up the printer. This printer is wireless only and will not connect via a USB cord. It operates on wifi standards up to Wifi 5. It also has WiFi Direct printing, allowing you to use the printer without connecting to a network at all. WiFi Direct can also be used by guests if/when you don’t want to share your network password. The app has a nice feature allowing you to hold a print job until your phone is nearby. It will sense your phone’s presence automatically with Bluetooth LE. I found scanning speeds to be very slow, taking ~20 seconds to scan a page. It turned out relatively sharp. The scanner operates on one side only. Double sided scanning would have to be done manually. I took a star off for that, as it means I still have to keep my other scanner set up for most things. It didn’t do much to de-skew the image before saving. You can scan to a PC or cell phone. This is a good choice if you have relatively high printing volume, but don’t have much of a budget to start with. Instant Ink can provide genuine HP ink straight to your door for less than you would pay otherwise. Since the printer is always connected to the internet, it can (and does) automatically order replacement cartridges. HP sends them when your printer starts to get low, assuring that you’ll never run out of ink unexpectedly. The printer uses 4 cartridges: Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, and Black, so you only have the replace the colors you actually run out of. Overall, this printer looks good and works well. It has a decent size, even with double sided printing. Text pages are crisp and clear. Pictures are very good, better than a laser. As long as you’re comfortable with an ink subscription, you can’t go wrong with this printer.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hewlett-Packard has really reduced the quality of their products. The paper tray and feed was made so thin with cheaply made plastic. The prints also come out so slow- I am a teacher who needs copies and prints immediately. It certainly did not compare to their older printers.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bulky and honestly not worth it. The plastic is so cheap and it’s expensive. At least it should’ve been better quality. But no it’s not and that is something I value because it should be able to last me for a long time and I don’t want to treat it like a fragile artifact.

Quality failed within a month
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer does not have good printing quality, I've been using for 3 months and had many majors problems with the printing quality. I contacted HP and resolved the problem but it takes at least a week or 2 to even solve the problem fully. If you want a printer for an art related business, this is not a printer for you.

Solid AIO printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with 6 months of Instant Ink Included with HP+ is part of the relatively new HP+ subscription based instant ink program. It’s a great concept if you print a lot of pages per month, a very convenient feature where the HP software will let them know when you’re running low on ink and will automatically ship you the cartridge(s) that need(s) replacement. If you just use this at home and don’t print that much, it may not be your most cost effective option, since it requires genuine HP cartridges that will be charged to your credit card at retail prices. Still a convenient way to get ink cartridges without lifting a finger. Additionally unlike most other printers in this price range, with HP+ the warranty gets upgraded to two years which gives you additional peace of mind. In terms of unboxing and setup, it’s fairly straight forward. The printer can easily be pulled out of the box in its plastic bag “with handles”. It’s not a small basic printer by any means, but considering it is an all-in-one that also includes automatic duplex printing and a scanner, it’s not too bulky either. One feature that could have been bigger is the built-in LCD screen that’s only 2.7”. I’ve owned inkjet printers from another vendor that had a more modern 4.3” screen. Setup wise, I already had HP Smart software downloaded and installed from having other HP printers connected, but if you don't already have it, expect the download and install to take a while. You can also scan the QR code with your phone to download the iOS or Android App that you can use to print and even scan from your phone. The print speed is reasonable in black up to 20ppm, about half as slow in color as expected. If you want faster, you’ll have to spend at least twice as much and get a Laser printer. I would recommend tweaking the settings to a lower dpi/resolution/quality to speed up printing and conserve ink, unless you're printing pictures on photo paper at 1200x1200dpi. It also integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant, but more importantly it has good connectivity options: USB, WiFi Direct or via Router, Wired Ethernet, Apple AirPrint, No Bluetooth and no memory card reader though. Cloud integration is OK, but could use some improvement. It can not natively handle Microsoft Office files, but you can scan to email or DropBox. All in all this is a solid All-in-one printer from the #1 printer company.

Full use printer capable of all professional needs
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in One Instant Ink Ready Printer is a dynamic home printer that has multiple functions which can handle a professional workload of tasks. Installing drivers and the software package on my PC was as simple as typing the website address 123.hp.com to HP’s home page and clicking on the printer’s individual link. I also installed the HP Smart app from Google Play on my Pixel phone. The following printing functions were available with my Pixel phone: Smart Tasks, Camera Scan to Email or Cloud, Print Photos and Documents, Print Facebook Photos, Print from Dropbox or Google Drive, Scan, Scan to Email, Smartphone Copy. The printing comes out clear and sharp in great detail. I was able to print from both my computer and my phone. I printed text from my computer and I printed professional looking photos from my phone, with great satisfaction.

What happened to HP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My HP Office Jet Pro 8025e lasted only four weeks, and that includes 15 days I was out of town. For decades I have purchased HP products, but lately quality issues have me looking elsewhere for my office product needs. This may have been a one time event, but this is the last HP I will buy.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is cheaply built. NO AUTOMATIC 2 SIDED SCAN or COPY... beware
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am sooooo sorry I bought this. Be warned this DOES NOT DO DOUBLE SIDED SCANNING OR COPYING. How is it called a "officejet Pro" and you have to manually take it out, turn it over and rescan or copy? Most disappointing. WishI had checked that function, looks like I just passed the return date.

Can’t find ink anywhere
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer is ok for the money. But you can never find the color ink cartridges to replace them when it runs out. Printer is essentially a black and white printer now. No one carries the ink cartridges not even HP themselvesThey just push their Instagram ink program on you, which I don’t need or want.
