So far Best Printer I have had yet

First off, this is my 3rd HP Business Printer. And up until now, my HP office printers haven't always been the best. But this one has an easy out of box set up. It took more time to unpack and place and set than the actual connection setup. There is a smart output tray sensor that prevents paper from spilling out on the floor. It also has self-healing WiFi. This helps detect issues, try to fix, or even let you know there is an issue needing resolution. Similar to beam forming technology in many of todays higher end routers. There is also a new HP Smart app smartphone feature that they created a new that allows you to do more than print. One great option is called Smart Tasks – the ability to scan receipts, and get them ready for any program or print. This also includes OCR technology, and edge cropping, so you only get the receipt and not the clutter around it. The scans can then be sent to the cloud print, or just the cloud to be used for what you need. You can send these images to Quickbooks, Microsoft Cloud, Google Cloud, Box, and Dropbox. This can give you fewer steps, and take half the time

Awful printer. Each time I want to print, I need to do maintenance and it takes me at least 30 minutes.

      Hi, Tani.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer has performed so poorly. It’s no surprise that you’re frustrated, considering you’ve needed to do 30 minutes of maintenance each time you use the device. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll offer a resource and some information I hope will make that happen.

I can’t tell from your review why you’ve needed to do at least half an hour of maintenance every time you use the printer, but it definitely concerns me. I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and determine the proper course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. I’m sorry to learn that your printer’s copy function stopped working. I can certainly understand why that would be an unnerving surprise after you’d had the machine only six months. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll suggest some resources I hope will make that happen.

First, I recommend that you follow a guide to resolving copy problems that you’ll find on our support site; it covers copy-quality and copy-speed issues as well as copiers that stop working:

It has great print quality and a nice small footprint as far as all in one printers go. I did wish it had automatic duplex printing and i did hope it wasn't as noisy. Overall it is a very nice home printer for a student or at home techie but not does not offer professional quality printing or scanning.
